Thanks to both Paul and Adam - this is really helpful. It shows you can be nervous/hesitant and still pass as long as you stay safe and don't do anything too stupid. I appreciate that in this case the hesitancy is related to the fact that Adam hadn't driven the car before but it had the same effect as nerves might.

Considering Adam doesn't know the area or hadn't driven the car before, I thought he did very well.

I have my test on the 26th, your videos have been really helpful Paul and have helped calm my nerves for next week, thank you!

Some people do miss the driving test after passing in the same way people miss school after leaving.

I have a request for you to make a video on changing down gears approaching roundabouts and turning into roads. Also you put into there about coasting and how to avoid this please. Will really help. Hi! I was wondering to know if is compulsory to use the hand break when stopped at crossings (exemplified at 6min in this video). I would lose any point if I don't use it? Thanks .

Adam was very tall and he had it back as far as it'd go!

When I've looked up what will be done on the driving test it says that there will be two manoeuvres but I only noticed one (turn in the road) during this mock exam. Am I right and if so, why is this?

There used to be two manoeuvres on the driving test but that was years ago. There's only one now.

at 34:30 would an examiner jump in and remind him like you did? or would they just let him carry on turning at that left?

Yes they do,,, my examiner keep reminding me during my exam cos I was not too good with using the sat☺️

That seemed like a very easy route. Did I miss anything or they didn't even take any 50m roads!

The test only shows whether you're good enough to be allowed to continue practicing driving on your own. It's not the end, it's the beginning. The driving test doesn't test you on half the things it could. You can pass your test having not going over 30mph, not parked, not driven on busy roads etc.

Yeah, it depends on how lucky the student is. I failed a test once and I'm taking another next week in Kings Heath. Fingers crossed they'd take me to easy roads. Because a friend who took it in Kings Heath said the route was very tricky compared to other centres she tested in. She even said it included a motorway! Isn't that against the provisional license rules?!

She probably meant a dual carriageway but motorway driving will be coming in for learners and on some tests over the next few years.
