I'm honestly really happy that the Kingdom Rush community is so honest about their opinions on the franchise. I feel like so many communities turn a blind eye to the negative aspects of their respective games. I'm really hoping that Ironhide cleans up their act with the fifth game

I find both your statement and the exact opposite to be true. Sometimes the biggest critics of a product are the users of it because they have the most time to accumulate their gripes. I don’t think a casual fan could come up with as long of a list of Vengeance L's as I did in my video about what the game could have done differently, for instance.

I don't know about you but ho-weee I see a lot of that in the Ironhide comments. People acting like the Vengeance dlc is the greatest thing since sliced bread I tell ya.

If KR5 is at least in-between the first two games and Origins in quality, then it will be my easy GOTY.

For me that is still a pretty high bar to clear, but I think it is one Ironhide can do. Hopefully KR5 is at least something worthy of being in the Kingdom Rush series 🙏🙏🙏

@@kereal2591 It was less balanced than the first two games. Barracks were overtuned and Artillery was nigh useless compared to other options. Additionally almost everything from towers to heroes deals true damage or otherwise has a way of negating armor/resistance, so it was like a layer of the gameplay was gone.

On reddit the dev team has confirmed that they are using the engine of the first three games, which sounds promising to me. It is also heavily implied that liniria and vez'nan are working together against an external, tentacly threat (the tentacle that picked up the tear of elynie at the end of frontiers?), which seems like a really interesting concept. I just hope they return to the old tower system. One tower type, two upgrades, a branching final upgrade. Not the dlc towers that are completely separate from the start, and have to be decided beforehand which you take into the battle. Maybe they could have two options per tower type, like a linirea and vez'nan tower meaning there are twice as many towers, but please not the vengeance system.

The tentacle monster from the trailer is from kingdom rush legends. If you haven’t played it the tentacles are from another dimension and are summoned by a cult who tried to take over the kingdom.

Hey guys, it's me, xX_KingdomRushPro_Xx, pulled back into the community thanks to this surprise announcement. I honestly can't wait to start doing my first playthrough, blind-folded, no hands, first try, no lives lost no heroes challenge in a new enviroment. I will finally have two more hours of entertainment. I can't wait!

If there's no frog tower, I'm leaving a 1 star review. :)

I’m excited for this and hope it’s at least better than vengeance. The old engine being used again and the fact that ironhide seems to be learning from their mistakes so I’m confident it won’t be too bad.

Since they are going with an alliance angle, I'm hoping that Kingdom Rush 5 will have towers that mix from various factions in various manners, maybe Dwarfs and Goblins combining their expertise or an elven archer tower that supports Twilight Avengers.

All I’m praying is that they don’t make it pay to win

This is gonna sound a bit crazy, but like last year my brother and I were thinking about good names for the next Kingdom rush game. We thought that Kingdom rush alliance would be a good name because veznan has to team up with the Linerian forces to beat the tentacle alien. Imagine my surprise when the next game announced is called Kingdom Rush Alliance!

It's either gopnna be the biggest banger or the biggest fail of Ironhide. I hope they learned. I hope they learned from lethal company, from palworld, from deep rock galactic, and from helldivers 2. I hope they learnt from ubisoft and from ea. I hope they learnt that trying to make a good game rather than getting more money overally makes you more money.

I feel like im dreaming rn. If this next game is actually awesome (like almost all Kingdom Rush games), im gonna buy it even if it is 100$. And I'd be stoked seeing all the new old videos on the new game. You are awesome.❤

What a twist of fate. As I'm writing my thesis, I remember Voduke and check up on his channel to see whats what - lo and behold, a fresh video where I learn about Kingdom Rush 5.

I think the game will be awesome, altho I feel it's gonna have a similar tower system to Vengeance, cuz how else they gonna fit both the good and the used-to-be-bad guys together, but I hope they manage to make it work.

I could see it happening with the old system - one level 4 upgrade for good and the other level 4 upgrade for bad guys, but the other system is more probable.

They said that the development of Kingdom rush 5 started on 2022. I think they had enough time to make a good game, plus the experience they adquired trying to innovate on vegeance. I think Kingdom rush 5 will be a vegeance well done.

I think they are gonna take the advice given by the community, hopefully. They've had years to get feedback for Vengance, and now they can apply all that feedback to perfect this new game. Let's hope they get back into their groove

The worst thing about Ironhide is that they have a gold mine but just won't dig in, kingdom rush is best tower defense game and they just won't give it attention

I hope they will mix up the base towers instead of adding lots of new ones in place of upgrades. A concept for mage: summoner that does tickle damage by its own, but has one realy powerfull summon, that upon death posesses the summoner granting the tower a temporary boost, but also killing/knocking out the summoner once it ends. One upgrade could allow the creature to buff its summoner without the bad after effects, other would allow the summoned creature to take over the tower upon death, the third could be a swarm summoned to taunt enemies. Maybe a unseelie archfey warlock could work best to fit the themes of the game, fighting off eldritch horrors

Yeah, I’m just waiting too. I’m not in love with where the story went for KR as a series, so that’ll be a slight hurdle for this game already, but that’s hardly the biggest issue. I just want some well designed levels and balanced towers/heroes.

Given where we are now, we at least have potential for a good story with all the characters and their allegiances that have been established up to this point.

I really like the look of origins, with how detailed and mystical the environments are. I want more of that.

One thing I'm genuinely hoping for is that its difficulty is amped up. We get 2 heros (one hero one villain) and that levels are generally bigger

I am really excited about the alliance game. I have spent all my morning today to make tower types like for example tower based on environments and communities. For example a forest pack tower in which the towers are based on forest environment. Barrack as forest keepers archer rangers hideout ,mage as wild magnus and artillery as weird wood. And two forest related heroes for example bravebark and cronan. Similarly I have made many combos like mountain combo ,volcano or Magma combo,lightning comb, underground combo and rotten forest combo. Similarly I have made many other combinations based on communities like goblins and demons ,undeas army (ghost, Skelton and zombies)and elves and dwarves. I just hope I can post it somewhere so that you all can see it. I don't know where to post it. This whole idea is hypothetical though. But fun.

Breaking news, the trailer is out! As someone who has grown familiar with your content, I can’t wait to see your thoughts on what will soon come. Other KR KZreadrs are already making videos on it, so I can’t wait to see your take on it. Thanks for taking the time to read this comment.

Controversial opinion: I actually really hope they don't tie upgrades to stars. Skill issue and all that, but I just don't see the point of even giving you enough lives to get a 2-star rating if getting it screws you over in the long run.

In kingdom rush facebook posts someone commented about lore so i commented there about some ideas of lore for lots of Kingdom rush frontier heroes that are completely hollowed but in very good contents , I hope iron hide will think about it and pick one at least to evolve it ; you know kingdom rush heroes are mostly fillers dont connect in games lore , frontiers too but some heroes have very good ideas to connect with the parts storyline , and origins with vengeance when studio really worked to connect them to the lore . . Blackthorne : Battle between Deep Devils vs Pirates , adding Karkinos to the story as a traitor but later on after Polyx sage both Karkinos and Junpai team together to fight back . . Kutsu and Saitama moreover Tenshi can be connected with Chinese city but very vague story until the fight of the dragon that can be tagged with Dianyun . . More Lore with BoneHeart like my idea of him being Grand Dragon that help other newly dragons like Eiskalt ; my idea is that Eiskalt was simply weak with power and experience so Veznan awoken Boneheart again to train him to become new roller of Cliff mountains rolling Trolls Yetties and Dragons . . Duo Dante and Lucrezia keeping balance in the nightmare lands with Margosa joining the party after two skulls fight to do her own arc taming her savagery and sadism in her way .

I AM SO HYPED. if only they make it online and be the definitive version that'll be updated regularly

I'm excited that i got to find out that KR5 is coming. I've recently been boding with my dad over it (i give him advice on how to beat Vengeance, and in return he helps me get over chaos mode), which means that this game has the chance to give us a huge opportunity to bond Also, 1:57 who's that handsome fella in the middle right? Hey Voduke, just found out about KR5 in this video. I love your content (as always) and I'm also hyped. By the way, I played DS1 for the first time last month, and it was absolutely amazing, I loved the game, so now I am trying to upgrade my computer to have a smooth experience with DS2, DS3 and maybe Elden Ring. Also, just out of curiosity, have you ever played Terraria? it is one of my favorite games, and since you love sinking your teeth in numbers, I strongly recommend it, but be advised, it one of those games you need to play with the wiki open! Sorry for not being active for the 97th time, I guess I am a low-profile person, but perhaps this new game is going to shake up things a little bit

I still believe they are disconnected from the original games. The fact that Vengeance ended up as it is begs the question whether or not they knew what made the first 3 games good
