So that means we're just going with the Fewer Disney Worlds thing and i was expecting a Mix of Classic (2D Disney) and Modern (Disney Animation Studios/Pixar CGI) but i guess were not going to get anything No Treasure Planet or Jungle Book or Meet the Robinsons, Emperor's New Groove, Atlantis the Lost Empire, Pocahontas, Black Cauldron etc.

The Jungle Book (Live Action variant) is on my want list. Don’t see it in KH4 unfortunately due to it being ignored.

Personally, the worlds I would love to see are: Marvelous NYC (The Avengers and/or Spider-Man) Tatooine (Star Wars/the Mandalorian) Danville (Phineas & Ferb) Gravity Falls (Gravity Falls) Duckburg (Ducktales) Shere Kahn’s Jungle (the Jungle Book) Hawaii (Lilo & Stitch) Polynesian Ocean (Moana) Midgar (Final Fantasy VII REMAKE) The Imagination Pavillion/Imagination Central (Figment/Disney Parks) The Wasteland (Epic Mickey) The Haunted Mansion (Disney Parks)

I doubt Star Wars will get two separate worlds with two separate stories since the movies are a singular narrative. Most likely we'll see their world center around Endor with sets on the moon's surface and in the second Death Star, possibly with a space battle somewhere in the mix. I think they'll continue with the trend of making worlds larger and more explorable like they did with kh3, so a multi part experience like that could work, although they may scale it down since it's hard to return to places once they've been destroyed. Marvel, likewise, won't likely get two worlds if they get any. Also, Spider-man isn't owned by Sony. They only hold the movie rights for the character and his side content. While Disney approached them for the recent Insomniac games, the character has appeared on other platforms since. Marvels Avengers had him as a DLC character, he's been in Fortnite, and Marvel's Midnight Suns, all of which were multiplatform. And I don't think we'll see a huge push away from the more cartoony properties. They'll likely follow the pattern from kh3 and focus more on the newer Disney franchises. If nothing else, Disney may push for their more popular recent films to be represented. Maybe Zootopia, Moana, and Frozen since those are the ones slated for sequels. Wreck it Ralph may see some representation after being a summon in the last game, but that's more dodgy due to licensing issues unless they stick to the sequel. I just hope they push for more licensed worlds and not just dump us into more original locations that lack the variety and personality that comes from the Disney worlds.

Regarding Star Wars, the reason why I believe it’s is going to get two worlds and two stories in KH4 is two fold: On Hoth, Sora gets to fight Darth Vader, and then for both worlds, Sora has unique party members-Luke for Hoth, Han and Leia for Endor. Regarding Marvel, it doesn’t matter if Sony owns Spider-Man or not. They’re very protective of this IP. It’s what allowed them to compete against Disney (albeit poorly with side character films). And, Square doesn’t want KH4 to be a PlayStation Exclusive. Either Spidey becomes a PlayStation exclusive DLC, or the entire game. If neither happens, Sony will make sure KH4 doesn’t happen either.

@@blacksunday7205 It does matter because Sony hasn't blocked other games from using the character in multiplatform releases. It's not their IP, they have no say in the matter. The only reason the Insomniac games aren't on other systems is because Sony owns Insomniac. And honestly, Sony had no issues with the cross platform Fortnite using their characters to promote the animated movies. Midnight Suns also features the character across both Sony and Microsoft's systems. Ultimately, Disney is the one who decides on these contracts. The only power Sony has would be to deny Square/Enix a release on their platform, which would hurt Sony far more than it would Square, so there's no way they would make such an ultimatum, especially after all their previous movie tie in games were on competing platforms. And once again, it doesn't make sense to have separate Star Wars worlds, especially two that are separated by years in the timeline of the story.

@@blacksunday7205 Sony had no say when it came to Midnight Suns or Fortnite. They can try for an exclusivity deal, but it's very unlikely with something like Kingdom Hearts where the story of each game plays into the next. The Insomniac games are exclusive because the studio is owned by Sony. The only leverage Sony has is to deny them a release on their system which would hurt Sony far more than it would hurt Square. That's simply not going to happen. That's not to say I think Spiderman will be a prominent character. Disney isn't likely to want to focus on him because the movies still belong to Sony and it's better for them to push their own films. If they bring Marvel into the mix, it's only going to be one world, they're going to want to focus on something solidly held by Disney like the Avengers. As for Star Wars, Hoth and Endor are separated by years in the timeline. There's no way we'll see both in the context of the movie story. And like I said before, Disney is going to want to promote their newer franchises, especially now that they are planning sequels. There are other ways to fit ice environments into the game than doubling up franchises. That could easily be associated with Frozen or Zootopia. You can get your Vader fight on Endor or the second Death Star without breaking the format.

@@adseigo Regarding Star Wars, it’s still very possible. Using the KH4 trailer as context, one year in Sora’s reality is one week in Quadratum. If time isn’t going to be fluid, we can still get both Hoth and Endor.

@@blacksunday7205 That's an assumption. We don't know the context of events in the trailer. Honestly, this seems to be about the same level of likelihood as Disney Channel shows appearing in the games, which is to say next to 0. Square isn't the only company that has some say in what appears in the games. Disney isn't going to want the fourth entry to be so heavily centered around subsidiary franchises.
