I don't mind the voice actor they got for Ansem in the titles after this one, but I feel this one was more fitting. Sounded more like a fine gentleman, corrupted by both his curiosity and lust for power, but his gentle tone was still there, only sharper and indicating his madness subtly.

Just beat .2 and going onto dream drop distance. It's freaking crazy. Aqua was just on the other side of the door Sora was at when Mickey and him sealed it. Not to mention how close Aqua got to Riku before she got sent back out by the demon tide.

skaionex it was easy when i was a kid, now im playing it back and its pretty dumb. Unlike all the other ground battles, he has no strategy to him. Just beat him up and look out for lasers. I love kingdom hearts to death but damn, this fight is the most annoying

@@0c3An50uL the easiest way I found to avoid that move is to watch his movements closely, because he usually pauses and comes closer to Sora to do the 'submit' power move. As soon as he does, dodge and run away a significant distance from him. You can get a couple hits in after you dodge this move of his. That's what worked for me anyway. Good luck mate.

This fight is so trippy that I can't form coherent memories of it. It's crazy.

BadPhilosophy this is all up for interpretation since NONE OF KH3 WAS CANON UNTIL A MONTH AGO. So, DINGUS, explain the couple of times he resisted Ansem and Terranort’s commands. If it was total mind control, he would have Crushed Roxas who resembled Ven, broke Aqua’s leg in the realm of darkness, and wouldn’t have rushed to the rescue like he did when Aqua and Ven were in trouble. And there was that time as Xemnas he mistook Roxas for Ven - could have been another circumstance. And if Terra was under complete control, there would have been no reason to keep him silent this whole time. That tape, which was a cool addition, wouldn’t have been necessary.

Im gonna be honest i played kh 1 fm on the ps4 collection and i liked it. Most of the time. A lot of fights in the end where basicly pure frustration, especially all of the "End of the World" bosses. It was my first time ever playing a kingdom hearts game so i went with normal, but that final boss fight made me almost smash my controller. A game shouldnt be that hard on normal, that every action an enemy takes makes you want to destroy the games disk.

Omg yesssss! The fact that terra is literally right infront of our face, and we knew NOTHING!! If Sora knew that that heartless had Terra’s heart, I’m pretty sure Sora would have rescued terra from the get go and we would have had him back with us.

Kind of surprised the player didn't realize that getting hit by SUBMIT! is a bad idea after the first time. It's not that hard of an attack to avoid, and it saves you a lot of headache if you avoid it.

It took me 16 hours straight to defeat the World of Chaos (Ansem Final Form).

This is by far one of my favorite boss fights in the whole series because Ansem is seriously OP on the hardest difficulty lol and I’m currently being blown away by KH3

The Gamer Dragon Get Mp haste and mp rage, babe. Also leaf bracer and second chance, and have decent defense. No one's got time to purse dive for potions while you're cruisin on SS.Ansem's Fat Ass. Also a good idea to fill donald and goofy's inventories with many mega potions and mega ethers set their AI to use it constantly. Its the final battle and no progress is saved afterwards, so go nuts.

I know it's overused as shit but if Master Xehanort was a goat and Xemnas had a coat, Ansem became a boat

Finally beat this boss, it took me about 5 hours.This was definitely a difficult one. I was honestly very close to quitting, but man is it satisfying to see the credits after such a cruel fight.

33:24 the memories of Sora and Riku with Always on my Mind playing in the background always gets me..

100% this, very few people have mentioned it so far. But it gives the smash reveal so much more weight.

I loved Xemnas's voice I could listen to it for hours. But something about Ansem's voice was just so sinister, and intimidating!!! Kingdom Hearts knows the perfect voice actors for bad guys!

Best final boss, in my opinion. Although birth by sleep was pretty climactic, nothing can beat finishing your first kingdom hearts game.

This Fight..This Fight is such a pain it took me days to beat him. But what pisses me off the most is after you beat this game it doesn't save after you beat it. Your last save is before you entered the final stage. So, all that effort you put on beating him goes for shit. But you still know you beat him even though know one believes you.

Just think-this was back before we truly knew what was going on. We didn't know who Xehanort was, we didn't know about Organization XIII, we didn't know who Ven, Terra, and Aqua were…we didn't know any of that. We truly had no idea what was really happening. The climax of this game really hits different after all these years…

i remember playing all of this like 5 times in a row one day just so my cousin can hear simple and clean lmaoooo and back then you couldn’t skip the cutscenes

Probably ended up playing the game for hundreds of hours and was overleveled or kept trying it like ramming your head against a brick wall. I remember fighting Riku for hours because I had no other games to play in the day lol

The Ansem death scene is the best death of any video game antagonist. Cracks me up every time. LIGHT!

A lot of games could learn from kingdom hearts. They do such a good job at making the last world and final bosses feel impactful and challenging. Its kind of silly in some games the end is too easy. The challenge progression is done nicely

Idk what difficulty I set my first playthrough on but bare with me: When I reached the End of the World and final bosses, the Fantasia boss and Ansem, I was roughly around the mid 60's level. All the magic I've casted during those fights were Cure and Aero and they shockingly felt like a breeze to get through.

One of Billy Zane best villains, the 24 th of February we were born , thanks for your great voice.

I finished the game back when it came out and loved every second of it... ...until the secret video showed up at the end with Roxas (at the time I didn't know who it was) DUAL-WIELDING OATHKEEPER AND OBLIVION!!! And then then it shows kairi back on destiny island with a meteor heading toward the ocean. I lost my s--- as a 12 year old who found his new joy in video games. Love this series.

Terra hits hard, huh? Also it makes sense that Ansem the heartless would control the guardian /Terra. Both of their hearts were released when apprentice xehanort became a heartless and since Terra's heart was inside xehanort's, his heartless would have complete control over that heart. Hence also why terranort controls the guardian

Xehanort is rather simple. He just dons goat armor.

His first fase be like: *ho ho, are you approaching me?*

29:41 this part is so captivating , intense , emotional . The music alone draws me to scenarios that take me back to a moment in time where I felt hopeless and sucked into a dark mental abyss . As a child I never assumed that theses fictional themes and characters could ever foreshadow the reality we encounter once we grow up . The inevitable escape from innocence and happiness that slip from our hands as we grow cynical and corrupted . Light & darkness , purity and wickedness - greed , selfishness vs selflessness & ego death . I'll never forget this game because for me it instantly transports me to my younger self. Somehow I feel in touch with that little girl ( me ) when I replay this game , I get to relive that era all over again. I get to retain a bit of the childhood I never really had . I wish I could somehow time travel and tell my younger self to sabor that time a little more .

Oh my god the nostalgia is so overwhelming!

So funny story...as a kid I'd always skip cutscenes because I wanted the action, so when I saw riku in this cutscene I was like "oh another riku boss is coming, SKIP" I kid you not, when ansem showed up with that heartless guardian in his true form I was screaming. Don't skip cutscenes, guys... 😭

LMAO Ansem got his submit off on Goofy, how the hell is that even possible????

One who knows nothing can understand nothing ..... You see, darkness is the hearts trueeee essence ✊ hearing him say that will always give me goosebumps. I love the voice acting
