Over all the games, he's gone from: Just Sora (start of BBS); Sora and Ventus (after BBS); Sora, Ventus, and Kairi (most of KH1); Sora and Ventus (end of KH1); Sora, Roxas, Xion, and Ventus (after recombining with Roxas); Sora, Roxas, and Xion (after waking Ventus); and finally back to just Sora after Xion and Roxas get replicas to exist in at the end of KH3. That's a total of four people not including himself who Sora has had inside him.

Gotta make a back up plan, and a backup for the backup, and a backup for the backup's backup. Ansem Seeker of Darkness sought direct access to Kingdom Hearts to achieve his goal. Xemnas sought to build a new Kingdom Hearts to achieve his, and Xehanort had two methods to create the X-blade so he could access Kingdom Hearts conventionally, including via the time traveling Teenort. Four separate plots executed by four separate versions of himself near simultaneously. The only explanation is that Nomura has his good shit imported from space alongside Ansem's reports.

Kingdom Hearts manages to be dark at times while still being light-hearted and fun, I appreciate that about the series.

2:40 - I like how a lot of people went 'WTF' when Sora wasn't surprised about having another heart inside of his. But the thing is, of course he wouldn't be surprised, since he had six others inside him in the first KH game. So other hearts being inside him, not too different from what's normally going on.

I figured he was also with Sora, what with Ven destroying their heart (the incomplete X-Blade) and staying in Sora's heart since the connection they made at Sora's birth, which extended to Vanitas, thus him sharing Sora's face. But honestly dunno if they ever showed him actually staying there so you got me wondering too :D

@@Rettomus No, Vanitas' heart became the Vanitas Remnant after that all went down. One of the secret bosses in BBS. After that is when his heart was taken by Xehanort. As well, UX reveals Vanitas actually existed before all that. In fact, Ventus was born like a princess of heart, a heart of pure light. Vanitas is the result of a Willful Darkness that attached to Ven in UX. Meaning it's not Vanitas who share's Sora's face (Remember, Ventus only connected with Sora AFTER Xehanort ripped Darkness/Vanitas from Ventus), it's the other way around. Sora grew up to look the way he did BECAUSE Ventus' heart shaped him. The same way it shaped Darkness into Vanitas.

Akshully, it'll be Organization VII. The "new game" Eraqus spoke of had 7 black pieces, and one white piece. Keep in mind, 4 of the original 13 willful darknesses are trapped, one became Vanitas who is now dead. Leaving the 7 other original darknesses. And the one light? The Master of Masters.

I'd just like to point out that Hercules jumping towards Sora, Donald, and Goofy to catch them would hurt more than them just hitting the ground. Firstly, because of relative velocities, they are falling faster relative to Hercules' reference frame than relative to the world's reference frame. Secondly, if they hut the ground, the impact can be distributed across their bodies; that can't happen when all they've got is Hercules' arms. Thirdly, Hercules' muscles are stronger then rock.

As someone who's never played any of the games, I'm enjoying this
