Played Kingdom Hearts III on my Xbox One X, because of nerve damage to my hands I can't really hold a PlayStation 4 controller too well from pain, it's too small. Still played through every game, except for 0.2 sadly, don't worry haha. I have a specially modded one for my Xbox so I'm really glad they released it on both systems!! Anyways, I was watching my friend play this fight, already beat the game myself as he wasn't able to play the game on launch due to work. So he's finally on Xehanort's final fight, he thinks he's died and will have to start over. Then I was like "Nah man you can do it!" knowing full well that he didn't actually die and it's part of the cutscene hahaha. "...Just breathe for a bit and rest your eyes and fingers-..." mid fucking sentence the controller goes off with Donald and Goofy yelling!!! Genuinely fucking scared me and my friend half to death, not gonna lie I jumped back and screamed a little! 😂😂😂

11:40 The way Xehanort says "There is one sky, one destiny" rendered me speechless as it served as part of both Kairi's parting letter in KH2 and Sora's farewell in KH1 as well. Nice shoutout to the fact Xehanort is a denizen of Destiny Islands himself and made this empowering saying his own.

As soon as that was finished his true nature was shown, that of a heart of light in its own sense. He's an asshole but its showing the morally grey area this game is going for with its villians..

Xehanort was never consumed by the dark. He truly was a Master without peer, even against Eraqus. As such, he could dive deep into the powers of darkness, without destroying himself. All others who tried became consumed, and faced thier end. Master Xehanort, meanwhile, remained in full control of both darkness and light

It seems right that you have the Ultima weapon when you’re fighting against somebody with the X blade. Feels canon lol

@@OmegaChase1002 I guarantee you that 99% of the population would not count something like the Kingdom Key as a sword any more than a bat is a sword. The Ultima Weapon's transformed look is leagues more like a sword than your standard keyblade, cause, you know, it actually looks like a sword.

One thing I love about this whole boss fight, is that it really how much of bros Donald and Goofy are. They've been with you since the start of this journey, and now they're there for the end

After the way they kept building up the ‘three half pints’ thing it would’ve been a shame for them to be left out. It was fine that they weren’t involved in the clash of light vs darkness in the keyblade graveyard but it was great that they caught up in time for the final clash

@@CriminalIntent89 I beat the game, you don't have to block if you time your attacks and dodges. I was under leveled and under equipped. That one little section led to half my deaths (I died a lot in Toy Story due to fighting mechs mechless). Guarding didn't help me because of the unblockable lasers were what was killing me. The LM link is an effective way at avoiding all dmg during that section.

Anyone notice that in the first fight against Xehanort, when he's in his armour, you fight him on land, sea, then sky?

I feel Xehanort only knew of the X-Blade's power of opening Kingdom hearts and re-starting all worlds, therefore not comprehending the tremendous power it had in combat, thus he using the X-blade was weak, fragile and did almost no damage, being unable to understand its power. Look how powerful and damaging he is in his armored form and how he then feels weaker by giving up the Gazing Eye for the X-blade

I personally grew to really like Rutger Hauer's performance. Sure, some lines (Come, Kingdom Hearts!) could have been done better, but overall, I grew to see and hear him pretty well in the role. Granted, he's no Leonard Nimoy, but of course, anybody who was expecting Nimoy was gearing themselves up for disappointment.

Apples and oranges really. I can't quite imagine Nimoy pulling off some of Hauer's scenes towards the end where Xehanort relented his pursuit for a world purified of Darkness. Sucks that KH III couldn't have come in time before Nimoy's death, but Hauer does a decent enough job for what limited screen time Old man Xehanort has in this game.

I feel like hauer is more for kj3 sense xehanort is so close to his 80s so i feel like hus sanity is slowly sinking while in bbs he was in his 70s so he has started to execute his 10+ year plan so nimoy is good for bbs but i find hauer to be the better xehanort

I like the fact that you have to face the very final boss with Donald and Goofy. The fact that these three have been together since the very start up until the very end of xehanort's era.

It's crazy to think Xehanort probably lost the war because he never accounted for Sora. The boy was never supposed to have the Keyblade, and Xehanort couldn't prepare for him.

You become a master by passing the mark of mastery exam. He failed it and lost his power. He got his power back, but he still would have to go through the official exam. Sort of how Naruto was only a genin, yet the most powerful in the village.

it's a matter of formality. like in BBS Terra was at a master's level of power, but not a master in terms of spirit. hence why he failed. Sora is similar in the sense that power wise, he is FAR AND AWAY master material. to the point where he would most definitely surpass all other masters before him given time. but he is still not mature enough to be a master. he falls for traps pretty easily and wanders into danger without much thought. but that in itself is also a strength. and personally, i wouldnt mind him never being a master. he is "the keyblade's chosen one" possibly in a literal sense unlike the rest being chosen for keys by others. and as far as i am aware the only other person to literally be chosen by the keyblade itself rather than being granted one is the Master of Masters as it's unknown if he himself had a master. so.... y;know.... there's that.... (unless the whole having two keyblade master level hearts in him is basically a more insane version of the keyblade ceremony bullshit, in which case god damn it Sora)

@@darkfiend76 Well, Riku did get his own eventually, so it's possible that's when he truly got his. Definitely fit him a lot better. And before you say anything about the Hollow Bastion incident, Riku's heart was stronger in that moment, so he was able to use it for a bit. But when Sora regained the strength of his heart thanks to his friend's, it went back to him. It's Truly HIS Keyblade.

TerranTXL lol that doesn’t make sense at all as it was pretty much explained that it’s the counterpart of KH and KH is the source of all light. Ultima weapon is just the highest form of man made keyblades so it makes sense that it’s the closest in power to the original x-keyblade. Well to be real it’s really in Sora case the kingdom key with a different keychain well what was explained in previous installments

i like all the ultima wrapons but this one is my favorite

I love the detail of the Ultima Weapon in KH3 having three blades along the shaft, to match the two blades from KH2's version, and the single blade present in KH1's version.

This fight had it all. It was beautiful, epic, music was fantastic, boss was amazing, Sora was a complete bad ass, challenging yet not too hard, sound effects was great. Definitely worth the 13 year wait. The 17 year old me would've been proud of this moment. (I'm now 30 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣) Need critical mode tho!!!!

What a horribly low standards - this fight had NOTHING original going on for it. Combat mechanics-wise or even Boss' attack pattern-wise. In terms of epicness and craziness-- where is Xehanort's Giant form? KH1 and 2 had them. Also, Xehanort's moveset with his X-Blade was PATHETIC and boring. His Data battle in the DLC is significantly better (and harder).

Kh1=You get to fight a Demon Kh2=You get to fight an Angel Kh3=You get to fight a God

There are 7 1. Pirates of the Caribbean go-to exile island grab it from the chest 2. Complete all those pudding guys minigames(they are not hard at all take ur time) 3.sled down that snowfall on frozen.(I used a video tbh I couldn't find the last one) 4. Postcard (save ur game with one post card , spam the mail keep loading if u don't get one you eventually will. 5. Find the emblems(someone literally posted all the emblems 2 days ago on his page just look it up.) 6. Go back to the final world where all the soras are after u beat the game and open the chest(check the keyblades war battlefield for the world) 7. Beat the gummiship boss on the last planet. (Again take ur time and go buy the lvl 4 gummiship. Would also be useful if you unlocked the cure special weapon.(use the KZread guide for this one too hard to explain but very simple

You know it feels like When he Talks about connections He's referring to his friends in this world and the friends His past self lost

Overall I liked this boss it was challenging and fun my only problem is Sora and Xehanort didn't have a pre battle chat the same way Sora had with both Ansem and Xemnas but at the same time I can tell he didn't need to I can see in his expressions that in this fight Sora absolutely hated Xehanort for what he did.

​@@kartikayysola I think that's the game's main problem. Everything that had to happen, already happend in previous games. All that was left was the clash betwen the 7 lights and 13 darknesses. But the game take years to get there.

I find the final part a very epic moment cause even when Sora thinks he’s alone his friends are always there with him and they’ll always be there

This fight was just amazing I enjoyed every second of it.

Ultima weapon was made to destroy Kingdom Hearts if it were darkness

Y'know, I noticed that the Ultima Weapon's filigree has the same spanglies on it as the X-Blade's filigree. And while the X-Blade uses a golden light, the Ultima Weapon's attacks use platinum light.

This is definitely a great battle, I loved all of this.

@@puterboy2 its more fitting with donald and goofy being in the final battle as from the very beginning once you gained the keyblade, they were with you through the very end so its bittersweet for them to be with you to the final battle

Xehanort really thought to himself, "lemme turn this dude into his rage form, that'll go well."

This key blade right here is just the best keyblade out of all the ones you get ngl

This whole fight hits differently now.

Omg I just noticed a nice little story detail happening in the final battle, back in kh1 you had to save Donald and Goofy from Ansem. They do the same thing after the Game Over fake out, I love that sweet little detail, like a huge favor being repaid

If you have the Ultima keyblade, the very first boss fight where you fight all 13 of his selfs, just shot lock it. They are all dead in one shot lmao

The X-Blade is Kingdom Hearts's Counterpart, the "Ultimate Weapon" While Ultima Weapon is the most powerful keyblade ever created by mankind. If u could use X-Blade it would be like 50 atk and 50 magic.

@@kaz7886 I think it's related to collecting 1000 synthesis materials, so I would assume yes. Not like you're locked in Scala.

I love kingdom hearts with all my passion but it felt like it was rushed as soon as you rescue Aqua. I was hoping there would be more worlds. Pirates of the Caribbean was a blast though, and the voice actor for Jack Sparrow was a billion times better than in the previous kingdom hearts. In fact all the voice actors were better save for Xehanort, I could tell his voice was off.

Love the series too, but thought this game was terrible. You go to a bunch of worlds and nothing happens but random organization members pop and say something cryptic. Then the plot is shoved into the last few hours after you rescue Aqua

I felt that the Caribbean world and San fransyoko are way too rushed, in the Caribbean world you just chase a ship, then go to look for another ship to use, use that ship to fight two bosses (the heartless boats and the kraken) then the final boss. Dont get me wrong I love this game, especially the final battle but they could have added 10 to 20 hours of game play easily by making these two worlds longer (like the others)

What’s funny is that if you manage to get Ultima weapons shotlock off on the first phase (with all the clones) you’ll one shot it lmao (depends on level probably but if you grinded for Ultima weapon you’re prob a high level)

@@zanehyperdrive1169 I wasn't even trying to grind I was mainly farming for materials and getting the trophy for destroying 200 ships in Carribean which by the way nets a lot of experience for mid tier.

That sword is fkn beast!! I'm definitely going for all completed plus THAT before main boss... Great video!

im a bit on the fence with his armored form fights, but his final fight near Kingdom Hearts is fucking amazing. i fucking love how he uses KH just to rip away your whole light and turn you into a perma-rageform, and once you get it back, HE himself turns into a rage form with all his 13 selves.

​@@evancuratolo6734 I've come to final fight with nanogear, idk but for me the nanogear is the best keyblade (except ultima, of course) just came the moment to stop guarding/dodging and actually start attacking, and I trashed Xehanort, well until came the rage form part, that's when it's my time to get trashed, for the first time, and second too, after that I've guessed what I needed to do in order to progress, then came the fucking beams part, long story short, I died more than 7 times to finally beat him

the only thing I hate about getting the ultima weapon is that ALL fights become easy, and u cant finish your combos without killing something beforehand or you kill so fast it just triggers some in game cinematic or situation I hope there's a NG+ and it has a boss that's tanky af and can take more hits so I could enjoy seeing the ultima weapon go ham

I like to play like a mage. It makes things more challenging. Also: when you get Ultima everything has been defeated. You just get it for those special effects and troll every boss in the game. Magic does get pretty buff too with this weapon. I personnally never bother to unlock it and just watch it on KZread. I just can't handle grinding, it makes me hate the game. Now if you excuse me I am going to find a video where they use Shotlock on a boss to see how much damage it does.

Was it ever explained how Donald and Goofy reached the top of the tower? Did they parkour their way up there offscreen?

I saw in one video with this same subject that if you hit Xehanort hard and fast enough when he gets down to 3 bars left, you can outright skip the Rage Mode portion of the fight.

Armored Xehanort's Gravity manipulation makes me remind of Pucci's C-Moon from Stone Ocean

I love how the ultima weapon is so glittery especially on the red parts of the blade same with the x blade

That thing is beautiful. This is the first Kingdom Hearts game that I complete the game in Proud mode (Im sure this one is much easier than 1 and 2 because I got through it pretty easily) and I also want to get the Ultima Weapon for the first time.

did anyone noticed yet? when sora's in underwater, look at the background. Does it remind you of daybreak town clock tower?

I just noticed that the world logo of scala that at one point it makes a heart shape.

I know Kingdom Hearts (the moon) is to be considered a sort of hyper-magical artifact, being the heart of existence and such, used against you in combat. But I've had rather preferred it to be the real final world, the kingdom of all hearts after all; sort of how mystical some Final Fantasy final dungeons are, such as IX's or X's. Come to think of it, End of the World kinda did that.

To actually think that the ultimate weapon for the last game of the Trilogy would be an actual Blade, amazing

10:55 11:25 the red and green/yellow decorations of the Ultima Blade and X Blade respectively are quite similar in style, i wonder if its just coincidence or a hint that the Ultima Blade might be on the same reign of power as the X Blade

Using a different keyblade is so anticlimactic in the cutscenes But using the Normal, Ultima, or Union X Keyblades makes it look cool, more sense, and Climactic

That little chime it plays when you defeat a boss sounds like dearly beloved and every time I hear it i think "how cool would it have been if one of the old versions of db played during trinity?"

Question everytime I do that return to the light move sora and xehnort move all over the screen which still looks pretty cool but how do I fix that

You know it's ironic when xemnas and ansem's stationary fazes were harder the the entire xeanort fight

I actually used Ultima's Shotlock on the X-Blade part of the battle (after you get raised up into the sky) and managed to skip the forced Rage Mode segment right to the last ray situation command and resulting fake game over, that is OP as heck

Does anyone know the theme that plays when Sora confronts Xehanort? At around 10:45 it starts.

Can i say that the return to light move looks suspiciously like Dark Aura. Is it finally time for sora to use that?

You would expect the Xblade to win despite the wieldee but I guess Sora is way too ex machina to succumb to the ultimate key, counterpart to a a god like entity

I enjoyed all the fights. But honestly speaking when I played through this. Fighting him more than 3x times was getting annoying. And uncalled for. It felt like they WANTED you to die at some point and start over.......

It's not much different from figjtong Ansem and Xemnas. You had to fight them a few times in the first two games.
