The run starts about 15:30, but the first cutscene ends at about 18:54 for anyone who wants to skip it. You probably want to listen to it though if you don't know the run because they discuss some stuff during the cutscene.

I'm a simple man. I see spike by the couch, I know I'll be happy with the run.

That glitched Oathkeeper cutscene was priceless, it's one of the funniest things I have ever seen ! And of course, awesome run too ;)

So nice that this was posted, I've been a KH fan since a kid, but never knew about/ never joined a community like this. It's so cool to see people as into this game as I am, and even more knowledgeable. Y'all are truly a gift. Long story short I feel very late to a party I would love to be a part of, and this makes me feel like im already a part of it.

My favourite game series from all the way back when the first was released, already platinumed KH 1.5 and Re:COM, working my way through 2 atm. It's also become my girlfriends favourite series now. Love that you guys are doing so many KH runs! Keep em coming

aspreedacore Nine months late, but here you go: Weight alone won't cause you to come to a full stop, but it will affect how fast you can speed up.

Really? Thats crazy, usually using a comp as a streaming machine wouldn't have too much of an effect on it. Wonder if there was something wrong with the system...thanks for the info though!

Not really...you can stream fine on a 4 core, I do it with my 4690k, WHILE playing a game. Usually dedicated streaming PC's are crap tier hardware. Most pc's you can buy as a package deal cost 300-400 dollars, with the only thing needing any amount of even small power is the CPU. I was more saying there was a cooling issue, or an actual hardware issue as in there were problems with the hardware, not that it should have been better hardware.

Yeah, but this is a charity marathon. You'd think they would overspec. Overspeccing includes making sure cooling problems don't happen. My honest guess? This was a net hiccup due to some configuration issue. Overloading or something. Happens all the time. Of course, if you have information I don't...

How is he finishing bosses so quickly? I don't speed run but I want to get into it, but how is he destroying these bosses with summons that quickly?

I'm gonna quote something I found on a forum: "You can take advantage of EXP0. Every hit gets a damage 'correction', and finishers get double the normal correction. The correction doesn't change until your next attack, and magic/Summons don't reset it. Basically, if you land a finisher then immediately use magic/a Summon (Fire, in this case), your magic will be much stronger. You can keep spamming magic and as long as you don't use any physical attacks or a Limit, it'll stay strong. If you do, you'll need to land another finisher. Note this only works for bosses, and against Invisibles with Stop (weird)." This correction basically exists to prevent hours-long bossfights. Using Mushu and Genie gives you a lot of single hits on a boss. Combine that with the damage multipliers, and you get those quick boss fights.

wisdom form and mystic staff, the only way you can do air magic on the ground valor form and wheel of fate, the strongest normal damage dealers final form and ultima weapon's ultimate form, you already know

Is that opening FMV still unskippable on PS4? Because that's skippable on the Xbox port.

Question about the run; after Sora glitches through the red Trinity mark in traverse town, why doesn't the route just go to the platform at the end of the cave straight into Merlin's house? Does it not work if you haven't unlocked the door yet?

What's with the video jitters? I know it's not my side because it still jitters even on different devices, and in the same spots in the video too. It's a little strange that I haven't seen any comments about it. I'm guessing it was stream side during the event, because the audio seems fine, but it makes certain fights look like glitchy slideshows, like the second darkside fight.

Does anyone still have a link to the 4-way crash video they mentioned around the 01:06:40 mark?

Also, fun fact about kingdom hearts 1.5 - the game is actually more of a remake than a simple remaster, as Squaresoft lost the assets to around 90% of the original game, and so they made the majority of it from the ground up. That's dedication

That's a common misconception. They lost the assets and code of the Original KH1, but they still had the Final Mix version intact.

Likely is as Biz & Kiwi have a background in the Smash community. They recently came out about a story regarding a community member and the way they treated them.

Why is his damage so high? I do the exact same things as this guy for my run against bosses yet they take way longer to kill? Is it because he is doing a no exp level 1 run and i'm not? Does this mean enemies level up with you?

KH1’s scaling system is really bizarre. Unless you have EXP Zero equipped, damage scales downward. For example, let’s say you went to hollow bastion with a strength stat of 5, and somebody else went with a strength stat of 30. If the damage floor is 35, then both players will deal the exact same amount of damage downwards since you’re under the damage floor. With EXP Zero equipped however, your damage scales upwards to the damage floor, so you’d deal far more damage than those two players even if your stats are worse than both of them.

I beat Clayton first try, first time I played the game. Just mashed out as many air combos as I could

wait...sephiroth is doing like 40% of sora's 18 HP at lv1 which i assume he has little defense...so basically defense is worthless in the game. At max level Sephi would still deal around 40% per hit. Such BS.

Nope. Game scales to your level that way a boss can't one shot you and chip damage doesn't take an hour. Defense is good casually. In these runs they really don't matter.

When you pick proud difficulty there's an ability called Exp 0. Just turn it on and you get no experience.

Ultima Key oh okay. Still, Amaterasu is a maiden in Valkyrie Crusade, but is not a sun goddess (uses sacred relics to bring good luck, in Valkyrie Crusade). Maybe its time I learned more about Japanese culture.

Donald was level 1, Goofy and I believe all World-based Party Members are level 2. That said the requirement is for Sora to be Level 1.
