It's not underrated, everybody agreed it was an awesome game when it came out. The only complaints were bugs and difficulty.

I 100%ed this game and all of it's DLC's on PC during covid and it took me around 300 hours. the fact that you're doing this on a console is no easy feat and totally deserves respect. this game is a lot harder on console due to the controller , good luck and can't wait for the next video!

@@Jay-corn3r Maybe they won't? Could be a neat reveal that the 'max' level 20 is actually out of 100. Even at his best back then, he was a noob or entry-level journeyman at best with everything he tried to do. Would also be reasons to add additional mechanics to, well everything. At Henry's most gigachad, he was only decent...for a peasant. Just some thoughts that amuse me, looking forward to the game no matter what!

I personally couldn’t play this game just because the realistic systems are super hard like potion brewing and combat and especially lock picking but it’s so creative fun and atmospheric and I am so happy the devs got enough support and money to start making the second game in the series which they just announced at indie world and I will always love games like this even if I don’t play them

Fair enough but I recommend you give it a try just train with Bernard then once you learn master strikes combat becomes a lot easier just instead of watching the star watch the shoulders as soon as they start to move fully forward block and he’ll parry and attack

It's only hard at the begining. You literally start as a nobody. Henry just needs some practice is all. When I played it the first time I got rekt by a bunch of bandits, then I trained with Bernard for a while, then returned to the bandits and I wrecked them instead. This pretty much applies to almost every skillset in the game. Just do it untill you/Henry gets gut.

I’ve said this before, games sometimes try to be too immersive and realistic. Read dead 2 does this, it’s great for a first experience but after a while you want to be able to play the game without waiting for animations all the time.

I probably wouldn’t have tried to platinum the game but I found myself wanting to do multiple playthroughs, so I figured, why not? The toughest one was not killing anyone because I love the combat so much and even bludgeons can be fatal.

I remember doing this and being so paranoid that I messed something up. Quests have to be completed in a certain way and it's so easy to mess up things, especially if you try to stack achievement like no killing. You have to plan out your entire run and how you tackle every quest

I’ve never heard of this game but it looks really cool, I wish you luck on the rest of your journey trying to platinum this game

for the record - I may be the first person to have ever achieved platinum on this game. 4/9/2018. 10:44 pm. which is Apr 9th if your outside the US. to my recollection, the Judas quest was locked because the game needed a patch to complete and i did the quest when the patch was released. it was the last quest i needed. to this day the trophy is a .02 percent. not 2 percent. ... .02 percent.

I had to finish the game 3 times to get the plat, one was my normal/first ever playthrough and played it without looking at trophies. 2nd was the brutal one with all negative perks / doing all the things that i missed ....and i had to do a 3rd one because ,going to "wash"yourself with the ladies count as a "woohoo" and i missed the trophy....

I absolutely love this game. Maybe this will help someone. The game creates a solution that your skill in the combat matters. It doesn't it's all based off of level. The game will cheat you or let you win depending on how much higher your level in that weapon is.

Oh god, I have this game in my library. Well at least I know what I'm getting into now thanks to this vid

You are missing ou! Is very challenging at the beginning but is very rewarding I won't try the hardcore because there's no UI abd can't set a marker and I suck big time at orientation. 😂 But this game is so fun!! Am doing a second playthrough to get ready for the sequel.

I remember when this game came out, I found a way to cheese the game by rabbit hunting. It wouldn’t let you carry animal corpses back into town because they said you were poaching, but if you cooked the meat you could sell it and rabbits spawned constantly when you rested. So I cheesed the game and was rich af like right at the beginning lol

An even faster way to get rich near the start is to build up some strength, then go looking for the (I think) Handsome Knight who wanders around the roads looking to duel you. Refuse the duel, then sneak up behind him and knock him out. Steal all his amazing armor, then wait a few days and he'll respawn fully armoured on the road again. Rinse and repeat.

Man this gave me the urge to replay this game, i remember dogging on runt with a fuckin mace.

What a funny game now part 2 wait time begins

I can't help but wonder if 'A knights tale' is a reference to the heath ledger movie of the same name, or something else?

I could not figure how to fight. Got stuck in the dlc where your the girl escaping to the mine or whatever. Been killed as her at least 50 times

This is a stunning game. Played it through 4 times across PC and Playstation. Getting the Platinum trophy required focus and, for me at least, the accumulated knowledge of what was what in the game. Personally speaking, the hardest trophy was the 50 headshots - no aiming reticule on Playstation!!!

I completed KCD %100 in 278 hrs and I enjoyed every second of it

@@NC-Project I just finished the game for the first time, following a guide to avoid missing missable trophies, did everything except for Hardcore, Virgin and Merciful. Have 140h on the clock.

I didn’t think Henry’s parent’s death was that sad, but in a women’s lot Theresa’s family and tinker…😢

took me like 400 hours to 100% it :)

Lockpicking on consoles seems harder than actual lockpicking. This is the most law abiding play through I’ve had in any game as I suck at everything. I’m pretty skilled at running away though.

I have 74 hours currently, only 25% through the achievements! This game is packed with content, and its designed for immersion, where you take it slow and dont rush through things. This will be a fun watch!

Fun fact you don't have to learn how to read in KCD if your dyslexic IRL it's not just a random scramble of letters if you dont know how to read its the same words just with the letters mixed.....ive never had trouble with reading bc its basically the same thing i deal with normally and as far as i remember no quest actually requires henry to learn to read

@@NC-Projectah I thought you could lie about Henry knowing to read on that mission if you didn't go to the scribe yet......maybe they set it up as an absolute fail state for that mission.....but yet just start a new game grab a book and you can relatively easily decipher it if your any good at word jumble puzzles
