Yeah Treasure Shabalala an Wilson B Nkosi. Man their voices are a dream.

In 1981 when I was a Std 6 (Gr 8) boy, Treasure played a song "Your body is here with me" by the O'Jays while he was at SR. It was just before midnight. I cried. I had been dumped by my one and only girlfriend because I didn't have money to buy her some 'goodies'. 42 years later, that song is still my favourite, with those memories ♥ 😁

Am glad I stumbled to this and am subscribing now, what a show

I remember in 1986, I used to wait for Radio Metro to broadcast after 10pm in Melmoth KZN, that time it was just like MNET, which will have an open window for 2 hours...we were children and we will wait for these cool guys, and we were learning English at that time and Metro became an instant hit...of course we discovered a frequency in MW and AM...wow Metro, Bop, Thohoyandou radio was there... Capital Radio ... there was no social media then...no cellphones,

King David, you are one of the best interviewers and the work you are doing is so incredibly 💯✅

Same here. David was still not mastered the art of podcasting. He interjects too much in the interview. Now he just keeps quiet and let the guest speak.

I think this David guy is irritating when interviewing his guests, he overtalks them and finishes their sentences. This alone renders the interview pointless. He don't shut his hole and it's unfortunate that I can't shut it for him. He's an annoyer.

Irritating may be a bit harsh but I feel you I was telling him to keep quiet like he could hear me.... if only he'd shut up and let him talk. This was supposed to be an iconic interview
