That's exactly how i view this podcast 😃😃
I remember the time you were in hospital my mom's best friend who was a nurse at the time used to tell us that she was tendering to Joe Nina. The funny part was that she was not aware who Joe was, until her colleagues told her that this is Joe of Ding Dong fame. She is late now, may her soul rest in peace.
Oooohh my God..🙆♀️🙆♀️🙆♀️ Joe your Blessed beyond words greatest talent...we love you truely. Aaaaa ...Joe Nina such a gentle soul🥂 King D we thank you dearly❤
I love this guy, Joe Nina. This interview reveals so much information about him as an all-rounder, so much that I didn't know, for example, his producer status on Brenda Fassie's project. Joe is a legend, a pioneer in his own right.
I was doing standard one and kuyoze kuyovalwa was my song. Thanks for the music Nina
38:00 this song was way ahead of its time!!! Oh wow!
Thank you Mashabela. That's an Icon right there. Wow!!
Kwa-Thema, Last Town, Springs in the room 😎😎... A product of Job Maseko Primary School 👏👏
Killer Joe representing Kwa-Thema flying the flag high what a musical genius
As a young musician in the early 2000's got an opportunity to meet this legend, still inspired by that moment
Wow; this has just made my day. Listening to this from the UK; Wales. Thank you so much David; I’d wondered what had happened to Joe: I love his music💕💕

Great conversation!
I'm a big Joe Nina fan but it's so hard to find his music on streaming services. Bob Mabena introduced me to the song butterflies an boss of the road. Those where the days man. It's just a pity we can't get hold of that music
For ME Zodwa personifies South African music at its finest
Joe is a proper pioneer, kwatio and afro pop

Ding Dong was a game changer can even remember the video but when he came back with Zodwa yeses this guy. What an Artist what a great soul . Id love to hear him unpluggged on a stage ❤
Loved this episode
Wow these interviews really show us how much the people we just think are artist have done so much for the industry,Thank you to David for this interview.Loved getting to know all the work and contribution Joe Nina did for the music industry😍
This was a brilliant interview. It could have went more to explain in detail the KillaJoe record company with Ray Phiri, the success and downfall. Also about Nana Coyote and Steve Kekana especially when these giants were under his music company at one point.
TaDavid, these are sooo lovely to consume. Please bring Just Ice! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Yhoooo this Podcast is truly amazing, an opportunity to re-live some of the great moments of people we grew up admiring, thanks Bra Dave for this💯
Great talent thank you king David ❤
I really enjoyed this interview,Bra Joe the king.
Woow, one of my all time favourite, star indeed.
Another great interview .. 👏
What Bra Joe is saying reminds me of my mentor Mr Thamie Ndlela who is a sound engineer. He always laments on how he misses the old days when art was real and when there was no copy and paste.
King David, you are a legend. Keep up the good work. I am going through your work and damn, I gotta say, as a young man that goes through struggles similar to your guests, reaffirms me that i am all but human. Thanks groetman
Maaaan! This!!!!!! Ahhhhg I love it!!!!

I was speaking with my friend today saying we need both a MacG and King David...now there is also Nkululeko n Culture, loving it
He looks like the late mpura
Joe nina is a goat
Almost a year after this interview, we still can't find Joe's music on streaming platforms
He is a real gentleman
Lol dis is amazing staff man I find myself laughing alone... We need such stories man yhoo... Think he must right a book or someting
You can't talk kwaito without mentioning Joe Nina..
What a legend. He was cut off @ 47:10 when he was about to talk about Patricia Majalisa. After Brenda, he went on to produce Patricia’s “Walimala” (95) and “Umona” (96) with the help of the former Splash members (Penwell Kunene, Patrick Mthimkhulu, Peter Leotlela).
Great interview, I think you should consider having Mdu Masilela in studio, his name is mentioned quite a lot by the interviewees.
Nina Sirmone Feel Good
