⁠@@BertDaMonkeyit is more intense with inversions and unusual orientations. It’s a better ride. But that 400 ft peak of kingda ka is not more intimidating that anything on X2 to me

I rode this around the time it first opened, I think it was back in 2004 if I recall. Waited 3 hours in line for a ride that lasts only 23 seconds. It was worth it.

Then don’t go on a weekend I guess 🤷🏻‍♂️ I went last Thursday and for the first two hours the park was open, didn’t have to wait more than one train for a single ride. After 1:00 a handful of rides had lines 5-20 minutes tops but most still had literally none, including Ka. It was awesome

@@brandonr3741 lol yea I grew up in Jackson, I know the rules, its just pathetic they dont have a better system and then they create a long line system just to sell you a pass that lets you skip it. Its jokes. I just get a free flash pass by saying I have Epilepsy and get to just get times for the coasters. Overcast days are the best days, riding Nitro in the rain is the best ever, King da Ka is over rated and boring tbh.

@@UMadUCauseBad oh cool. Nitro was my favourite coaster there, but I loved them all (except green lantern lol). Kingda ka is gimicky but I definitely enjoyed it, I wouldn’t fancy waiting in a long line for it though. It’s a quick burst of ultra concentrated adrenaline and then it’s over.

They need this roller coaster at every six flags out there 🙌. I could use a thrill or two at this point.

rollercoasters close for maintenance often. it could be as simple as a cable snapping needed to be fixed (happens on lift hills and hydraulic launch coasters sometimes), or fixing track wear, changing trains, whatever.

The ride closed because when it started going up the hill it went backwards, it’s all fixed now. Nobody was injured

If they roll back the ride has been designed to brake the coaster to a safe stop

I've went on this ride but going up is way more scarier than going down, and you go so fast in one second, it can make you pass out.

This is the roller coaster equivalent of eating cake icing. Did I mention I love cake icing? Great POV Collin!

This was my fist rollercoaster omg it was so scary I started crying but when it took off all my tears flew away!!!

The launch in the video doesn't relay very well how tall this ride is, but it does seem like you get the feeling when you crest the top.

Dude turned into Palpatine the second the coaster started moving. Phenomenal Pov.

Those cameras make it so much more condensed looking...like, not as high as it really is. I LOVE this coaster....you have to watch it from a phone view or mounted camera...or just go and ride it!!!❤

I went on this ride yesterday my GOOODDDD!! It was faster then the video showed it

I have ridden it several times- like the acceleration and other than that like loops and more. Remember lightning loops? The first and we thought it was the greatest… I think that there will be another similar to kingda kah that will add more riding fun

When I’m about to go on a ride and there are like adults on it screaming, it makes me scared

One of my all time fav rides, went on 5 times in 1 day the season it opened, and many times since. It's almost like a modern, higher version of the old Batman/Robin Chiller ride (huge build up, huge drop). But, still, my fav ride in this park will always be Nitro. Nothing like it. Especially if u sit in the front or back row and close your eyes as soon as u leave the gate and wait until you drop

I went to Six Flags last week. I was SOOOO scared to go on this ride but there were literally no lines so I decided to do it. IT WAS SOOOOO MUCH fun that I rode it 3 times in a row.

This opened first and the plans for Ferrari land were drafted shortly after and they changed to make it a tiny bit taller and a tiny bit faster. When it was built the speed was just not there but the tiny height does make it technically the tallest

Ferrari world didn't even open until 2010 In Abu Dhabi with formula rossa surpassing kingda ka for speed but not height. Ferrari land at Port Aventura in Spain opened in 2017. Red Force opened in April 2017 and has a height of 112 m and speed of 180 kph . Kingda ka is taller at 139 meters and faster at 206 km/h. TLDR kingda ka was first by a lot and remains the tallest of its kind and is second fastest. Red Force launch is great because it's LSM not hydraulic. But many of us coaster enthusiasts prefer hydraulic because of the immediate acceleration. The instantaneous acceleration on that cannot be met by LSM. That said I think the best of its kind is still top thrill dragster. Source : working in the industry and having been on all of these coasters.

@@spochysrandomnetwork are you high? In what sense is the one at ferrari land better? Its worse in every sense. Kingda Ka is faster, taller, faster acceleration, was a large bunny hill at the end, it is a hydraulic launch. Red Force has literally none of that.

Whenever I go on coasters, I'm sometimes asked if im okay bc I'm not screaming, not a sound and I look like I'm about to pass out. But I've never passed out.

I like this coaster. Not saying its the best but is one of the best launch coasters i have been on. I personally think Storm Runner is better just because it has no headbanging but this is still a good ride!

I’m from NJ and went on kingda ka many times. It’s incredibly intense. Nitro is my favorite tied with El Toro. (All 3 in the same park)

How that stays on the rails at that speed is absolutely insane

This ride has a top speed of 128 mph that’s insane. I’ve been on rides but not recently of them going 60-80 mph but 128 that’s insane. Till I bought me a 720 hp Camaro zl1 with a manual.

This coaster is a giant middle finger to those who say "stats aren't everything"

When I got on it, it was so scary. I was almost falling out. I hung on.😢 if you go to great adventure, Six Flags say rest in peace if you get on this ride.
