2011-2013 the Aussie dollar was parity with the US dollar. 1 AUD was up to $1.10 USD in 2012. So I’m guessing new cars were a lot cheaper those couple of years.

Cortina sump is different to escort, from memory the extractors will be too. I sold my last one in my 20s so a little rusty on knowledge but sure on sump

Heard you talking about escort and depending on the year pretty they had a Bathurst edition which had flared wheel wells from factory Aunty had one went like a rocket anyway I reckon a flared escort wouldn’t be a bad idea
