Ingredients for the King's Cake:
-4.4 cups of flour
-7 tablespoons of vegetable shortening (about 100g)
-1 cup of sugar
-2.5 teaspoons of yeast
-1 egg
Ingredients for decoration and filling:
-Peaches in syrup
-Mascarpone cheese (or any type of cream cheese)
-Typical King's Cake figurines
-Ate (fruit paste)
-Concha paste (sweet based on lard and sugar)
