Adding 2” spacers to my King Quad to increase stability and give me a wider track when hitting ruts on the trail.

Bad To The Bone Off Road I’m thinking I have that issue now. I actually ran into a tree on the trail after installing these because the handlebars just yanked from my hands without warning

Bad To The Bone Off Road yea...I have to take my front end apart to set everything back straight. Hit a small pine that pushed my Kimpex bumper into the body. Luckily no cracks in plastics

The bike looks really nice! What's the offset of the wheels. Is it the same for the front and rear? I'm putting 28x9x14's all around. I have the same bike

That’s the same size tire on this one. I have 2” spacers all around, and the wheels are all the same 14x7 5+2

Yo HvNt3r well I will say they change the steering totally. Bump steer is huge and caused me to hit a small pine tree and tweak my front end. I have to take my bumper off and reAlign it

Yo HvNt3r yea this is at Deep Creek. I ran hollister without them. Deep Creek has a much better trail system and a lot more riding

I just got 27-11-12 mudlite xtrs on my 09 kq, but on big bumps I get rubbing on the rear tires on that bar behind the foot area, any suggestions?

The only way around that it to play with offsets or some people cut and modify that bar to be higher to clear the tires.

are you still liking the spacers? I just put 32" Aztec XL on my KQ. Im thinking about spacers myself to widen her out a bit. Just not sure about going 2 inches though.

I like them, just had to get a steering stabilizer. I had a bad case of bump steer due to not being a powers steering model.

How much bolt thread did you have after bolting to the original axle

So the spacer bolts to your original lugs and then the wheel bolts to the lugs on the spacer. You don’t lose any thread

Rides fine other than some bump steer when hitting certain obstacles. Added a steering dampener to combat that. If you have a power steering model you’ll be fine

rzl07375 maybe a couple horsepower, nothing crazy. I have the big gun tuner also. Basically it just makes the machine more efficient, better flow, and makes it sound a lot better.

@@dizzlerizzle2775 yea I’m not sure Suzuki ever will with the KQ. They sacrifice speed for reliability. Maybe one day they will offer an additional model with a vtwin to compete with the renegade and scrambler.
