The S2000's advantage is in the cornering. The FR layout allows the driver to make adjustments from entry to exit. The Lan Evo on the other hand used a full time 4WD system that allows it to grip the corner and is very fast in corner exits but the Evo is heavier and that's how the S2000 was able to catch it. Its mid-cornering was slower than the S2000 giving the S2000 more advantage as it can exit the corner much faster.

That's a good observation right there man!! But I do have a question and I'm just genuinely curious about it, does full time AWD have a disadvantage when it comes to tire management with this kind of sprint touge grip run? And what are the best tip to utilize it so that you won't run out of traction quickly? Also, I'm not really sure about this but are turbocharged vehicles like this Evo consume tires than the N/A like the S2K? And lastly, is it necessary to use anti lag system (for turbo powered vehicles ofc) when it come to hillclimb time attack races? Please let me know if u don't mind and I'm really sorry for bombarding you with these kinds of questions. I've already did some of research about this matter and I'm just really want a clarification about this especially I'm a big fan of grip track racing like time attacks and endurance circuit race. Anyways, please correct me if I'm wrong, thanks!!

@@UguisuAnko12 well I know you technically didn't ask me but here goes: 1. full time or half full time AWD usually does have a disadvantage when it comes to tire management, especially in the front, as the driver needs to utilize the front tires well otherwise just like in FF cars the tires will be gone from abuse 2. turbocharged vehicles usually have more torque and are more "jumpy" in their throttle curve which gives more of a toll to the driver to drive it smoothly without abusing the tires, so a general rule of thumb is that NA will consume the tires less (although again with skill this doesn't have to be the case) 3. genuine anti-lag systems tear up the turbo system pretty quickly and are usually not really necessary for modern turbo systems unless in extreme conditions like rallying (modern turbos don't have that much turbo lag)

S2000という車、本当はもう少しボディが小さくて2000ccの直5のエンジンを搭載した5ナンバー規格で出す予定だったのだけど安全基準やらに色々問題があったからボディを大きくし、余裕のある2000cc(後期は2200cc)の直4エンジンになったのだけど…その甲斐あってかコーナリングの鋭さはとてもボディ剛性が低いと言われる当時のオープンカーのそれとは思えないほどの出来なのよね

I know it's a lot of work, but the graphical quality of the tracks is really holding this game back; when modders really put the effort in the details, even more with the recent 3d trees, it really makes the game match the newest games. That said, i think every modder shouls be praised for the efforts.

Also the main AAA racing game producers need to take a look at the lighting work in this video, it's nearly spot on photorealistic.
Would you please tell what settings you use to make your game look this good? I have the mods, but I don't know why it doesn't look the same.
