You should do a top 10 second additions.

the rules also changed... if no one is in tokyo you have to go in even you did not roll a claw... same with 5-6 if no one is occupying, the nect person has to go eventhogh he/she didn't roll claw (*someone pls reply if im right)

I really miss the Kraken. I honestly think it fit A LOT better the theme than the Penguin... Giant Monsters destroying a city and they get rid of Cthulu?? Really?? Too bad... hope that IF they get a 3rd edition out, they include the power ups AND bring back the Kraken ^^

Pretty sure they removed Kraken for being too dark for a family-friendly kids game. It's part of why they changed the box art.

I dont think thats why after all a kid doesnt need to understand the Cthulu mythos... for a kid its basically the octopuss guy. Plus they are selling it separetly anyway. Too bad :(

I think so, in bgg you got the new Kraken sold separetly. So IMHO if they where gonna make Kraken anyway they should just keep it in the base game :(

Cthulhu is an expansion character from what I have seen on BGG. I have yet to see a Krakken character.

I just want an expansion so i can use the first edition characters in king of new york. With power ups and etc.

there's a big drum roll in my head regarding the answer to the question in the next video to : If you already own King of Tokyo should you buy this new version...

Kind of a bummer this doesn't come with the power-ups.

I find that in this game we don't even touch/get/use cards at all. :/

I have yet to find someone who doesn't likes this game. Sure some friends are deep into carcason and risk. But most are way happy if I show up with this box. Okay I got the first edition but same game really!

Damage from outside hits everyone inside, and damage from inside hits everyone outside. Also when damage in done to the people in Tokyo, either or both can yield. If only the Tokyo City person yields, the Tokyo Bay person is "upgraded" to Tokyo City. If anyone yields, the attacker moves in (Tokyo Bay if someone is in/upgraded to Tokyo City or Tokyo City if everyone yields).

In short it doesn't matter who leaves first the attacker end up in Tokyo city

@@jumble6820 There is also one rule change: In the first edition, Tokyo remains empty until one player rolls a claw; they will then enter Tokyo. In the second edition, the player that goes first enters Tokyo no matter what they roll.

Game looks okay, but not for the price

It goes too fast!!!!

Cute game for kids but I can't see a group of adults sitting down to this and being satisfied. Especially strategy gamers. It's kind of a fluffy Yahtzee variant.
