I got fired last week from my warehouse job where all the supervisors are fat lazy and all they did was walk around yelling at us and call people in the office to berate them on their performance.

The record for strongest human kick was 2,749 lbs of force by a Muay Thai champion. The normal impact of a car crash (car reaching over 40 miles per hour) can reach an average of 73,363 pounds of force. Hank Hill with a single kick, broke through a fence designed to withstand the force of crashing racecars meant to go upwards of 200 miles per hour, meaning that Hank Hill has not only broken the world record, but has kicked beyond human limitations. It is honestly a miracle that Jimmy's ass wasn't vaporized upon impact.

I love that none of this gives Hank any pause for contemplation regarding his own exploitative work situation. The fact that he’s *assistant* manager and at absolute best is paid as such (let’s be honest, probably less), yet is squarely responsible for his branch of Strickland Propane’s ability to stay in business and turn a profit, doesn’t ever seem to be an abuse that he recognizes, let alone ever attempting to leverage his indispensability for a better (not to mentioned well-earned and appropriate) title and pay. Before anyone “AKSHUALLY”s me, I’m aware that he receives the coveted “SENIOR assistant manager” title and as I recall he gets promoted to “manager” by Buck’s wife, but is demoted back to his original title in short order. Those are not the same thing as recognizing and rewarding what he does to keep that place afloat. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
