Suju's discography is often considered a joke, but that's more so b/c of the title tracks -_- That's how internationl fans became prejudiced towards Suju. The side tracks are great though. But Kyuhyun definitely isn't underrated as a vocalist, especially after his solo debut last year. Back then in 2008, a poll was made about which group members could do well solo- Kyuhyun one of the candidates. If anyone is underrated, that's Ryeowook. Yesung is also dope, lol. Basically, the entire vocal line KRY is the strongest one out there right now in Kpop. The rest of Super Junior... They sound nice, but they need to work on their vocal techniques, especially the lead vocals.

Deby Punk In 2007, Leeteuk, Shindong, Eunhyuk and Kyuhyun got into a car accident. Shindong and Eunhyuk had minor injueries and Leeteuk had to get more than 150 stitches on his back and head. Kyuhyun was severely injured because he flew out of the car when it flipped over. He had 6 broken ribs and they were piercing his lungs. He was in a coma. The doctor told his family that he was going to die if they do not drill a hole in his throat and even if they did he only had 20% chance of surviving. But his dad refused to let them do it to protect Kyuhyun's dream/voice. He said, "he is a child who has dreams of songs. If you drill his throat, you are taking all that he has." The doctor told his dad he was crazy at first but then they managed to find a doctor who was able to help Kyuhyun and did another from of surgery. They succeeded and Kyuhyun was able to stand on stage again after 5 months. He wasn't fully recovered at that time, he couldn't dance, so he only came on stage during his part and then went back. The members took good care of him though

+Deby Punk in 2007, some of the suju members got into a car accident. Kyuhyun was hurt the most since he was thrown out the window. his ribs punctured his lungs and he was unconscious for 4 days. The doctor told his parents that he was most likely going to die and they wanted to do an operation through his throat but his dad insisted a different way since he was a singer. Like a miracle a doctor from China (I think) was there and was able to find a different way and he recovered after a couple of months.

가수들도 각자 음역대가 다르기 때문에 자기에게 맞게 키를 맞춰서 부르는게 노래를 잘 부르는 겁니다. 맞지않고 어울리지 않는데 원키 고집하는게 노래를 못하는거죠. 댓글로 키 낮췄다고 태클거는 사람중에 지금 야생화 이대로 규현보다 잘 부를수 있는 사람 있나요?

곰탱이 그쳐 근데 원곡처럼은 저도 힘들거 같은데 '원키'라면 다르다고 봅니다 '흩어져 날아가'에서 '흩어져 날아'까지 하고 좀 박자 뒤로 밀어서 '가' 하면 음역대비 충분히 가능하다고 봅니다 널 사랑하지 않아는 초고음 발음이 '지'여서 토나올뿐... 야생화 하이라이트 고음은 '날아가'로 '지' 발음보단 내기 편한편이긴 하죠 호흡의 심각한 난이도가 있는 곡이라서 그렇지 편곡만 잘 한다면 '원키'로는 부를수 있다고 봅니다 ㅎㅎ

이때도 좋았지만 지금은 더 성장함. 그 자리에 계속 안주하지 않고 끝없이 성장하는 모습이 인상적인 가수

And to remember that Kyuhyun almost lost is voice years ago! I still can't believe he's standing on stage again after that accident. I'm so proud of his father, his members, and the people who supported him and help him revive from that tragedy. So proud of this man right here!

Yeah we are so glad that kyuhyun dads didnt want kyuhyun take throat surgery as what the doctor said.

the differences when i listen to hyoshin's and kyuhyun's . hyoshin ; my heart tugs from the moment he sings the song. the emotions hit you in the face right away. kyuhyun ; fall into a state of comfort becaust of his voice, when the climax comes, weeps sliently. both are g r e a t.

Same, i started almost 10 years ago (i was a high school student) stanning TVXQ and Suju (and i will always do so), after that i supported other groups too, like Big bang, JYJ, B1a4... but i never felt again like with those two till BTS was born (i was in college). Now, as a graduated adult, i have my big 3 :) I´m close to include Winner there, but i will be hard to get haha, no other is at the same level as 5 memebrs TVXQ, 15 members Super Junior and 7 members BTS.

+Anna 001 lol are you me? im also an elf who loves other groups but the i can't stick long with the groups and came back to my sj as always. also about the bts part, they debuted on my last year of collage, i stan them since then. and until now the only group that i dare to call myself as a part of their fandom is super junior and bts (also oh my girl). anyway, proud ELFARMY here ^^

저때 규현 성대결절 걸리기 직전이였는데 진짜 미친듯이 잘한다 ㄷㄷ 자기 음역대 맞춰서 한게 신의 한수 저때 이후로 가왕도 하고 볼때마다 성장하는듯 대단함

야생화 다른가수들은 이느낌을 못내고 자꾸 박효신 생각나게하던데.. 규현은 박효신 싹 지우고 본인노래인듯이 만들어버림. 난 이 무대 보고 규현입덕 했음. 입이 다물어지지가 않더라ㅎㅎㅎㅎ 앞부분은 그냥 감미롭다 정도였는데 고음 쫙쫙 성량 터트릴때 기 빨리고 깜짝놀라서.. 영혼 나가는거 같아서 자동입덕 됨.

No need to compare him to the original singer and say Park Hyo Shin is better. Kyuhyun already has proved to the K-pop industry that he is an amazing-beyond-words singer. They both have their own styles and techniques, so let there be no comparing for the sake of the artists.. and fans too.

I love the way he sustains his notes. It's like a complete vibrato. Like a complete wave line. Coz I noticed that most idols tend to just reach the note with the a vibratory but then can't sustain so it becomes kinda like a straight line and they ran out of breath. I can't describe it well but all I know is that kyuhyun's sustained notes are not annoying.

규현은 내마음속 원탑 노래 너무잘행 아이돌중에 이렇게 잘하는 사람 못봄

원곡이 약간 격정적인 애절한 느낌이라면 이건 잔잔하게 애틋한 느낌. 그야말로 규현답게 부름.

Exactly my thought. Kyuhyun is always good, but Park Hyo Shin is on different level. Even great singer like Kyuhyun can't bring the effects of original version.

Though there are many singers that can hit high notes but I've never seen someone control that as good as Kyuhyun..

He is kyuhyun from super Junior group, he is one of the best singers in Korean music, and also handsome 😍

Coming here is all but a bad idea right now. Since Super Junior are facing some circumstances with regards to the group, this just makes me so emotional. It just makes me think what would I do without them. I'll keep praykng for things to get better. And I believe with what Leeteuk leader-nim always say that "Good things comes after bad". Kyuhyun being able to sing and us not only ELF but eveyone even the ones outside our fandom... listening to his sweet voice it's a blessing, Kyuhyun it's a miracle, and that's a truth, after that horrible accident, he made it, and he was and still is able to do what he loves and by that he's gifting us with that beautiful voice of his, this is why, listening to Kyu it's a blessing, because it comes from a miracle, I will never in my life regret being his fan

박효신은 사막 한가운데 타들어가는 야생화면 규현은 눈꽃에 덮혀있는 야생화 같음 같은 곡인데 느낌이 진짜 다른게 개개개개좋아 진짜 ㅜㅠ

Look how audience attracted by him. Kyuhyun, besides his great voice, he is also has charismatic side!

So many covers of this song. They sounds good but strain their voice alot. While here, Kyuhyun sang effortlessly with his natural voice. I'm not even a fans of his group.

+Natalie Tan ......Hyo Shin composes this song, and he is basically singing his story...Sings about how he preservere through hardships(sobs....) He is undeniable that he cannot be compared. I think Kyuhyun no doubt does an excellent job by lowering two keys and adds some personal interpretation to the music.

i absolutely adore phs song and i do hear the overflowing emotion while still keeping amazing technique, but i feel kyuhyun is the only other who can compare. sure there's no competition, but kyu can handle this song very well.

Well, i mean PHS did write is with is friend. This song had 2 meanings. To PHS, this song is about his career and all the heartbreaking and stupid shit(sorry for my profanity) he went through. But for his friend, its about his other friend dying... so of course its a very emotional song. I totally agree with all these comments.

been following him for nearly 17 years but never once stop getting amazed at his vocal. he is literally the best!

To be honest, I'm glad Kyuhyun lost. We all know that he's a legendary ballad singer, and one of the best in the Kpop industry. He didn't even have time to be here because of all his activities, and yet he took the time to come here to show everyone that Super Junior is not just a "variety" group (even though been good at variety takes real skill and is one of the things that SJ truly is the best at), and that they also have a million other musical talents that are overlooked and downplayed by others, especially SM and the media. Purposely losing, so that he gets to showcase his talent with his mask off, and so that all the people present could put a face and a name to that beautiful voice and truly regret that they didn't vote for him as he sings, was an extremely smart move, and I'm really proud of Kyuhyun for it. Kyuhyun, you may not have won, but you are definitely the best in ELF's hearts, and now, all of them can see that you're not considered the best for no reason either. Thank you for doing this and bringing awareness to Super Junior's relatively undiscovered talents. We admire, and are really proud of you. We love you, Cho Kyuhyun; never stop singing.

+Andreggvil Jammer I don't think he purposely lost, since he sang very well as he usually/always does. It's just that this program does not actually choose the better singer. KyuHyun, Ailee, Wendy, Ryeowook, Jongdae and others also lost when they shouldn't have. And with this song in particular he just showed how bad the judging of this program is.

Milagros Roller Can't really tell if he did or didn't purposely lose, but I have a feeling he deliberately chose a song that doesn't showcase as much of his abilities so he could take the mask off and sing Wildflower. I'm not saying he purposely lost in the way that he sang in a way that's not up to his usual standard; he sings as well as he usually does, I agree, but it's the song choice. Though admittedly I don't know the program well enough to tell if it's because of Kyuhyun's conscious decision making or if it's becaue bad judging as you said.

I'd believed this is the 2nd time Kyuhyun is singing this cover of Park Hyo Shin and honestly, he did improved a lot cuz at least, I 'd felt it this time as compared to his 1st time singing it, he was trying too hard. Of course, Park Hyo Shin is still the best when comes to delivering emotions across to the listeners. Seriously, I believe no one is trying to compare Kyuhyun and Park Hyo Shin. However,, no one can sing covers of Park Hyo Shin very well, but overall Kyuhyun I believed is by far, the best idol singer who sings this cover the best.

firstly, i'm not one of ELFs or kyustan. i just love kyu's voices as a solo singer. Well, wild flower by park hyo shin is my favorite song ever. and kyuhyun is my favorite solo singer. when the two things of my favorites balance in one... omg kyuhyun sings a wild flower... idk how can i described it. its so bad when heard him didnt won this competition. his voices is not a joke. kyuhyun is amazing singer!!

Obviously, the original which performed by Hyo Shin is very touching and also shows a lot of techniques. But the cover version seems not... You know what I mean

Almost three years since it was posted here on youtube but I still got the same feeling everytime.. Those low notes were to die for. The chorus part is so holy that Im having goosebumps everytime. That highnote on the last part was daebak! It's so flawless and neat that my jaw just dropped all through out.. You can clearly see how great a vocalist kyu is! He controlled the notes very well! I mean it felt like the ALL types of notes were floating in the air. It is heavenly and magical I just loved it!

I‘ve watched this video so many times and never get tired of it. Thank you God for not letting him die in that horrible car accident 13 years ago, thank you for helping his father put his love above his will and make such a difficult decision to refuse a vital operation that would harm his voice, even when he didn’t agree with his singing career. Thank you for helping the doctors find a way to save his life without damaging his vocal cords and ruining his dream/his life. Thank you for allowing us to hear his voice to this day. I feel blessed and I will always be grateful that you‘ve let someone with such a beautiful gift LIVE when hopes were low
