gun572 Yeah but they got rid of some of his better moves from KOF 2002 UM, like his MAX2 move, God's Duster, his SDM Vermillion Heaven Exorcism, and a few others. Still, Kyo can still kick Iori's ass any frickin day of the week.

SNKP needs to make a new Mark of the Wolves using this game engine.

Fun fact: When a KoF player play SF, he usually does decently well with his KoF skill. But when an SF player play KoF, he mostly gets slaughtered hard.

Gameplay wise KoF is much faster and button inputs have always been really strict so going from a faster pace and input heavy to a slower pace with favorable input times you can see why.

imo, '98 is The One. Hard in arcade mode, balanced in multiplayer.

NESTS Kyo's NEO-Max is probably the greatest explosion based super move I've ever seen in a fighting game. Sure there's the stuff from the DBZ and Naruto games where you see giant nuclear explosions from a distance, but there's something so godamn awesome about the _entire screen being encompassed by the explosion _*_so quickly_*

+BinaryDood I agree, but SF4 didn't need any help from KOF XIII to look like crap. 3rd Strike makes SF4 look like crap. SNK definitely makes the superior fighting games, but I will always acknowledge the unparalleled spritework in 3rd Strike. Truly a thing of beauty.

The current KoF games look really awesome, but they´ve never been my type of game. I went into the air-dash direction and can´t live without it anymore.

i did beat the story but my problem is how do i get a 100 story completion i seem to be missing a few scenes i have right now a 85% story completion who do i choose and what scenes do i choose to get the remaining 15% ?

supermon99 you have to choose a certain path ( scene ) and from there if you're give a 3 way choices either being on the noah sky , around the stadium or within the stadium for example choose the one you haven't explore and you should unlock some of the credit scene i have reach 90% or more on the story mode ! but i want Saiki so bad in my arcade mode !

i think this is my favorite kof

i don't remember what game was it but in one of the KOF they made an animation in between combos with super move where the opponent was looking like he was sweating and suffering after taking so much hits just before the last blow i really love that sprite animation !

@jay4gamers1 Kyo, Iori and Takuma have alternates in this game. Slightly different super moves to each one and a few changes to their special moves. Any name in "red" text are DLC characters.

That's what I hated about this game. A lot of KOF mainstays got their movesets stripped down to KOF 94 levels.

@chaosgreyblood I don't think his Fatal Fury Special version or Real Bout version has much difference to give him an alternate. I don't keep up with KOF storyline so I don't know where they got Claw Iori from.. Takuma and EX Kyo I know but not that one.

Ryo GOT SO MANY DIFFERENCES from Ryu that set him apart from Ryu. First, he was actually having some characters. Not as bland as Ryu. Second of all, all of his moves are different from Ryu. His trademark 13-punch, his double kick, his desperation (Not the fireball one), his Karate Chop, and FOREMOST, HIS TRADEMARK BUDDHA FIST. If anything, while lack normal fireballs (his usual fireballs was close distance), he had all tools to punish the fireball character and his Karate Chop was the proof.

Not to sound petty, but i'm a bit surprised that with Hwa Jai you left out his Dragon Back Breaker super during his drunken state, where he would land a kick right after breaking his opponent's back. Aside from that, great display on everyone's supers. Oh and Robert's lvl 3 NeoMax that you hate so much? Imma call that move "Swag Surfing" from now on, haha
