Ignorant, chadd did robot with hard hitting only, thats a style, robot isnt from chadd so now explain what HIS style is?, both did differant styles of popping n mike added flvour even tho im not a fan of it, robot is a style under the umbrella of popping but robot is its own genre aswell, and ps; Mike was hitting clean, i dont like his flavor but keep it real instead of commenting to prove you are a beginner or a fan of step up, first learn what dance style means, a style has foundations, robot dimestops etc, chadd was doing styles without dancing or flavor added , so again, what was chadds his own dance style?

lol what r u talking about this dude could not hit a beat anyone with eyes could see that Mike really isn't anything compared to chadd. Who was freestyling all over the place that day and still battled him on E, hitting him with those hard hits and an insane amount of control. Animation and Robotic/Pop is his style. Mike has some groove going on, but he could not hit on point, he was always early. Nothing about his technique was all that great, his style is also supposed to be popping, what good are you if you can't actually pop it? And on top of being whack as hell his personality makes things so much worse. He went home with a BIG ASS L.

Even though Mike was freestyling all over the place, he wasn't even on beat and his hits were barely considered a hit. It's just like what you said in your stupid comment, what good is his popping and freestyle if he can't even listen to the music and hit on time when Hitting is a basic move and a foundation of popping. Mad Chadd wasn't doing as much styles of popping as Mike, but he was actually on beat. Chadd's hits were very controlled and on time. He did his own thing and was great at it. So I'm not sure what kind of bullshit you're trying to spit at me but anyone who has ever experience a real popping battle in a Jam could see who lost.

Yo the battle was tight, especially from both sides, but I can't respect someone that can't respect their opponent. Yeah I get it was a callout battle, but there was no reason for him to keep running his mouth like that. What's with the talk? Chadd has more control and a better concept

This Battle reminded me my days of battling from the 1980's on east coast through the 2000's. It was all about who was better at that moment of challenge. It didn't matter what one had on or where. This was great to watch in that spirit. The Krumpers carry the battle mentality still. Hats off to both Gents.

Everyone has their own way of dancing and style. I cannot help but find it rude when King Mike says for him to "dance". Chad has his own way of dancing , King Mike has his. I understand that the battle was on fire but still. If everyone dances the way King Mike's thinks what is "dance", there would be no individual creativity of their own style. Though, I give respect for them both for shaking it off at the end.

Again, it's all about interpretation. Dance is completely subjective. it's an art form that isn't bound to a strict criteria of how things should be done. If he is out having fun, then by all means I think he is doing it right. Fuck the beef.

I also noticed Mike likes to run around in circles and not even look at the person he is battling its kind of weird.

Chadd hit wayyy harder than Mike and did more styles better than Mike. Mike was also super off beat. Madd Chadd clearly won.

King mike missed a lot of beats, particularly towards the end. I was frustrated that he was lecturing chadd on dancing, just do your thing and let the judges (in this case the crowd) decide. Both danced well but chadd hit those beats and had flawless technique, even though he a less dynamic style he does everything possible with it to close the gap without breaking the style. Chadd took this for me - dynamics without pure cleanliness dilute the animated feel I expect from popping

these ppl do not understand a concept or a style. As a form of expressing ones self through dance I can respect Mikes style. He has the funky feel to him, but when you are in a POPPING battle (shit any battle) you have got to stay on beat and make clean hits, the powerful the better. Show that you understand your body and control. Prove you as a dancer possess musicality and show it through dance and not open your mouth to disrespect another persons form of expression. Chad is a robotic animator/popper. That is his concept and always has been. He can do other things too, but breaking out of his robot persona would be going against who he is as a dancer. During this popping battle, chad stuck to his dance, even though he was running on E he took to the floor and battled a disrespectful condescending clown that was just way into himself. He did not bring anything special, but tension and heat. Not fire. Heat. Although creative, hit popping skills were weak, waving repetitive (if you want to get technical), his hits were too early no matter how I look at it he was all off beat and it ruins it on top of that stank ass attitude that was completely uncalled for a no business in a battle. Dance don't shit talk. Respect and acknowledge. The difference in techniques is BEYOND obvious and Chadd is up there. I find it disappointing that most of this comment section actually think Mike served him 😂😂. Y'all need to watch more battles and get familiar with the styles, listen to the music carefully watch how they move their bodies to it. Do not be fooled by the generic ass funky groove that can bring the hype compared to Madds meticulous robot dance were you have to really pay attention to each detail from hard hits to isolations all the way to control. Y'all won't be satisfied until mad starts bboying in these battles. The guy is known for his sick robot. its just ridiculous how SOO MANY ppl cant see that. He doesn't focus on one repetitive beat or the loudest sound, he works on every single sound! shifting between different speeds smooth as butter on bread. you can see the sounds visually working its way through him at one point or another. I wish ppl just knew and really WATCHED both closely, especially chad man...

chads obviously more technical with better musicality. The other dude's not bad, but he's not on beat and not precise with his popping. I think he let his emotions affect his performance in a bad way. he's probably better than that.

Chadd has a better foundation and technique, is cleaner, more on beat, and to top that more original, yet this guy is still over here telling Chadd to "Dance" smh...

First off,this is the clearest footage I've seen on this battle..you can really see both dancers here..while I still think Chadd took this,Mike"s second pass should prove that he was popping and CAN hit when he wants to while.Chadd"s first round should've settled any questions on whether or not he dances with his robotics cause he CLEARLY does! Now looking at this Angle I think Chadd completely won especially the first time Mike said "dance" then Chadd literally copied Mike's style from head to toe like it was nothing LOL.

"King's" always get pissed when someone else is better than they.

I have nvr seen MADD Chadd out of robot character but man he won from the dialogue alone. But he is right, ppl who claim dancing only do it bc they lack creativity and innovation. Party dances do not count if that’s all your going to do. Chadd has his style and it’s cool. But to get that mad let’s me know that he was intimidated to get beat by a robot but Chadd hits were harder more visible and pops were earthquake. So no where in the battle did Mike do better except he has definitely been in the lab working on his facial expressions

Well Mike's being pretty bitchy and disrespectful When it comes to call outs you first of all do not throw words at someone. The sense of a call out is to show that someone's background leads to the win (e.g.: someone's not being real so you wanna beat the shit out of him ) So basically: Mike being an ass

Chadd has weaker energy, but his animation level are high, but mike are animated too, yet he's dancing and got that funk, he's hitting hard as fuck

chad completely destroyed the guy. His energy read nothing but negativity, he was consistently off beat, and fooled around way too much with impersonations/taunts that you cannot even begin to call dance or battling when he is running his mouth. His hits were so weak and that day he randomly calks out chad, dude didn't even battle that whole day and chad did like 12 different performances when this dude called him out. Mike had that obvious funk/groove appeal, but when you really pay attention and see a lot of battles its clear to see that Chad is on a WHOLE nother level than Mike who "skill" in dance is amateur at best. Even on E Madd Chadd brought power, control, he was clean and had a solid concept. A lot of ppl sleep on his robotic animation form of pop because its not too flashy or eye grabbing. You have to really pay attention and see where he moves each sound through his body. He shows elevation, vibrations, drops, skips, isolations I mean the dude is crazy. It is just ridiculous! For these two poppers with different sub styles, its all about connecting sound and body. And if Mike can't hit...if he can't get a beat on point...he is simply not a king and had no business acting the way he did when up against such a powerful and respectable dancer like Chad.

People probably can say Mike had it, but so what, he ain't got my respect as a dancer. If mike just danced without the trash coming out of his mouth, he'd earn my respect. To any style of dancers, no matter how good you may be or think you are, let your moves define your skill and let it do the talking. Mike brought the rhythm and funk back! clean, soulful and hard hitting. good animation you can catch too! chadd looked a bit stiff which didn't fit the funky tracks but his robot is unreal. dope battle both sides!!!
