Yeah, I had to listen a few times to make sure I heard that right. They may want to check that part again. Queen Mary (aka bloody Mary) was Queen Elizabeth the 1st' half sister. Mary Queen of Scots was their cousin. This is somewhat common knowledge.

I'm liking the cultural anecdotes of Britain that you sprinkle throughout the video. In the States our knowledge of Britain is mostly summed up as; Britain bad guys, then good guys, then James Bond occasionally saves the world; Doctor Who timey whimy's around while Monty Python lampoons it all.

Doing an episode on the King James Bible would be interesting. Not only was it a political propaganda work but it was also the start of the little people being educated and rising up many years later. Edit - the rivalry between Melbourne and Sydney in Australia was so bad that a while new city had to be built to be called the capitol of the Federation of Australia. The place for the capitol, called Canberra was picked as being exactly half way between the two other cities 😂

YES! Elizabeth's throne was Wales, England and Ireland. The Tudor was a minor Welsh nobel/ royal family. Henry Tudor has claim to the English throne via his mother, Margaret Beaufort. Who was the great-granddaughter of Plantagenet King Edward iii.
