It's kinda interesting how we actually got an heroic Ghidorah in GMK just because of him and Mothra replacing lesser known monsters as the guardians for increased marketing value. It definitely paid off, with that movie being the most profitable of the Millennium series, but that sudden one-off recast is still so jarring.

And it’s weird horse legs don’t give the impression of a predatory animal. Desghidirah did quadrupedal ghidorah much better Plus his tiny wings and short necks make it worse.

What he calls hideous to Shin Ghidorah is actually downright cool and awesome in my book. I just feel like its what makes him, well, a Shin Kaiju.

MV Ghidorah is definitely the best incarnation of the three-headed beast. His design, his size, his roars and other noises, all awesome. This, in my opinion, is THE MOST menacing Ghidorah ever. I also love his motto: “The devil has three heads”

I was expecting to start of the video with an absolute L take with Shin Ghidorah, it looks like a proper alien and has gravity beams that actually effect gravity!

I honestly think Desghidorah is my favorite design, black and red is such an awesome colorscheme, and being on all 4's only enhances it's design, like always, it's an amazing video!

I love how Courage opens the door and then we see the most realistic footage in the entire show, and it's of Ghidorah

Putting Showa so low hurts my soul. . .but MV being #1, I suppose I can forgive you. MV King Ghidorah is my beloved after all. Heisei King Ghidorah however is overrated AND overused af (imo). Dude put up a worse fight than GMK King Ghidorah but is used for everything for some reason (especially video games). At least Showa still had personality even when under command of aliens, but Heisei is an unthinking creature. Just wanted to get that off my chest.

Ya know I just realized, that King Ghidorah in the Monsterverse era is basically a little similar to Cerberus the 3 headed guard hound of Hell. This is mostly from Monster Zero's personally of each of the heads just like Cerberus, one is aggressive, the middle is neutral, the other one is curious

I literally cannot state how much I love the designs of Keizer and Monsterverse Ghidorah. Probably the two designs I’m the most fond of! Especially Monsterverse. KOTM is not only my favorite Godzilla movie, but my favorite movie of all time. I have completely lost track of how many times I watched it over the years, and no movie has ever trumped my sheer hype for this one during the build-up to release, and all the toho kaiju redesigns were an enormous factor in my unprecedented excitement.

GMK Ghidorah is the only one I despise because he’s literally a nice person😭

You forgot the alternate Ghidorah from The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy: “Kittyra” which while goofy is worth at least a shout out because of the obvious design inspiration

Alright lets be honest everyone can say what they want about the monster verse but you gotta admit they make the coolest looking monsters and they also manage to make you feel their power, ghidora looked imposing and like the king he was meant to be, and also their sound design to, those monster calls like shimos are just amazing to hear

I love Ghidorah, he's my favorite kaiju aside from Godzilla himself. My favorite is a close tie between Legendary and Grand King, both of whom have a lot of personality that other incarnations lack. Third place goes to Desghidorah for his unique design and colors. Heisei is a pretty good interpretation, though I'm not as fond of his mecha form. Showa is pretty iconic but I don't like how he's mind controlled in most appearances. Void Ghidorah is an interesting concept but was lots in execution. Keizer has a lot of weird proportions that make him look wonky at certain angles; I don't mind him being quadrepedal, but his wings are way too small, he's got some extra thicc necks, and the colors kinda clash for me.

My top 2 favorite designs is definitely 1: monsterverse ghidorah and ultimate battle ghidorah I just love the more wyvern approach of using their wings to move on terrain and ofc the 3rd being heisei king ghidorah

Imma be real.... I much rather prefer Ghidorah with wing arms. They dont even have to have actual hands. but even wyvern style wings where there is an actual bone structure to them, and dont just looks like kites glued to his back, leaving him also looking like he lost his actual arms in the war or something...

Out of all of them, I honestly love the 2001 THE MOST! And desghidorah.

You missed one incarnation of the big KG. As obscure as it is... Monsterverse Mechagodzilla is Kevin. His head was never eaten or destroyed during the events of the Oxygen Destroyer bomb. And is the only head to survive since all 3 were vaporized by Burning Godzilla. Making it the head that was recovered in the post-credits scene of KOTM. This head was the neural link to Mechagodzilla and took it over during the events of GvK. And was basically Kevin in a Godzilla mech out for revenge.

I hope that king Ghidorah was not actually fully destroyed and come back lol

Yeah, this time the US design wins undoubtingly, this Ghidorah design is amazing in every detail. I have nothing in mind that could improve it. And if there will be a Rodan list, go aheahd and put this design on top as well. Rodan looks awesome in this movie.

Just my top 3 fav ghidorah design: 1. Heisei Ghidorah 2. Monster X 3. Desghidorah My Top 3 Hated Ghidorah design: 1. Ghidorah (Monsterverse) 2. King Ghidorah (Godzilla Anime) 3. King Ghidorah (Shin Godzilla vs EVA)

I do not approve of the mane disrespect, but Grand King Ghidorah in a high tier makes up for it, I always loved that design and it's my personal favorite. Also, MV designs are a hit or miss for me, but Ghidorah is definitely a hit, they took every aspect of the Classic Ghidorah and basically made it badass in every way.

Please do Mothra and Rodan next
