I lived in Conwy for 10yrs. As you were unable to go inside the little house, would you like to know the story that goes with it? Legend has it that the house belonged to a Fisherman that lived & worked from conwy Quay all of his life. Believe it or not, the fisherman was 7ft tall & built like a brick sh*t house! A big hard rugged man. Lived in that tiny house all by himself. ….That’s the story you would have been told if you’d have been there early enough to go in. 😊

I’m 5’10… (& a half!) and it is terribly cramped in there. There is one room downstairs & a loft hatch with small ladder going up to a tiny bedroom. …….There is another story, but I won’t tell you that one! 😆 Great videography of our beautiful North Wales! Nice blue skies and countryside. We got some rain here for the first time in 45 days so I won’t complain. British Columbia needs the rain 🌧 because the forests are all burning 🔥 down right now - my brother works in forest services and dispatched 72 planes the other day all fighting forest fires.

Beautiful day for riding 😃🏍️👍. Spectacular ocean views along the winding mountains roads. Cool castle 🏰. I wonder what happened to all the floors. Great views from the top. Nice spot to eat fish and chips. The Pan America in green is cool 🏍️. The smallest house is really great. I could live there as it's low maintenance 😃. The chocolates 🍫 look yummy.

When we turned down that road towards the Harbour the dude in the mobility scooter gave us the death stare, we didn't know if we were allowed to go down that road.

Another great video guys. You never disappoint. Full of humour, history and interesting facts. If you are ever in the North East then Northumberland has more castles than any other county in England. Many are in ruins but Alnwick Castle (still the home of the Duke of Northumberland) and Bamburgh Castle are both well worth a visit. Great biking roads too.

It amazes me how they moved those large stones to create a castle. Some of those walls are quite high and the massive amount of effert to move the stones.

@@BunnyKingHogs Impressive as it looks the castle, fully provisioned, was captured by two (or three) men apparently while the garrison were in church. A far more historic site is across the Conwy river at Deganwy. The site dates back to at least the post Roman period with several fortifications built there through the centuries. 😉

These castle rides you get to take are a dream come true! Amazing! Love how knowledgeable you guys are about the history of these places. I really want to ship my bike overseas and ride it to these places. Far more costly way to do it I know, but it would be fun to have my own bike in other countries. I’m constantly amazed by how narrow the roads look, that would take some getting used to. Love the videos guys!

So cool to "see" Conwy castle again! It's been over 20 years since I was there and it hasn't changed much since then! lol Really interesting titbit about the scaffolding! I wasn't aware of that. So glad you got to put in some drone footage of castle and surrounding area, really gives a feel just dominating the castle was. You have to rev the motor when going under a bridge just to hear your sweet exhaust! I'll bet the bikes sounded awesome in those tight alleyways! Brian, your editing skills are really great! Is editing a skill you already had or have learned with doing the channel! Another great video!

I absolutely love the interaction between you and Brian life but seldom be boring, another great vlog looking forward to the next installment there is so much of north Wales to see and most of is stunning thanks Steve ...

I live in Wolverhampton but we used to have a caravan in Dinas Mawddwy about 8 miles this side of Dolgellau so I must have been down every road in North Wales plus I used to go there almost every weekend on my motorbike

@@BunnyKingHogs Birmingham is crap for everything ( apart from my grandkids who live there ) but there is a town called Bridgenorth very pretty and the roads out from there are fantastic to places like Craven arms Church Stretton and Ludlow the latter having a fantastic castle and from all of those places you can travel along some really great roads to Elan valley New town and Clun again the latter very small village with a ruined castle and a very odd summer fete. Ride safe Steve

You two are in the beautiful Welsh mountains and i'm sat here in the Swiss mountains.... what a bummer, wanna swap? Hello, its fascinating to see the ruins of the past, imagine the lifestyle thousands of years back. And beautifully narrated, think Carolyne really likes history. The place is amazing, as you said, perfect place to celebrate birthday. Anyone who loves the exhaust note would rev up the engine in such situation, as Brian said, acoustics in the old days are amazing 😀. When Brian was standing next to the smallest house, it reminded me of the Eskimos and igloo😂. Tc and stay safe.
