Are you sure it is a direct quote? King said one of the reasons he did these live fan chats was because he saw so much crap about him saying things on the internet that were not true and one of those things was that he is not a real Satanist. Listen he talked endlessly in great details on these chats about his Satanic beliefs, practices, rituals and experiences and how serious he is about it and his wife Livia too was very open about it so I really don't know what more you can ask for.

Im a Catholic and I think King Diamond is pretty respecting towards most people, and i like that about him. I dont believe he worships the Christian adversary known as Satan, because he stated that violence just for violence's sake makes him sick which is a trait that the Devil promotes. But I like his music because it good and badass! What he calls Satan or God doesnt concern me.

though im not 100% against christianity, i agree with King Diamond's views on the subject. in reality we all sin no one's perfect and it's because we're not perfect that makes us human, or vice versa.

My guess is, that if a person was able to take ANYTHING (in this case satanism) and use it to make themselves rich...then they would at least try to make money off of it. King Diamond is no different than anyone else. He found a way to do something that he enjoys (music) and put a theme to it (evil and dark) and he successfully used these things to become wealthy. He is a typical human being on Earth.

It bothers me how our languages have similar words, but they pronounce them weird.

I love the king but I am a Christian. Love the story telling in the music. The upside down cross was St Peter's cross. He didn't want to be nailed to the cross like Christ so he was upside down on the cross.

Exactly King Diamond and his wife Livia who sings on his albums now are both Satanists. I loved listening to King during his live fan chats recently talk for over an hour on some of them about how serious he is about his Satanic beliefs, practices and experiences! He talked on the forum and in interviews about it as well recently as did Livia. They are both so serious about it and it was so interesting to listen and read them talk about Satanism and how much they believe in it!

A truly gifted man, however I hope he lives long enough to realize how much damage playing with this stuff can do. I personally believe, perhaps more so with these two teenagers than with Diamond himself, that interest in the occult results from rebellion against Christian and or moral teachings along with what they feel is a constraint by the moral majority. The more you study Christ and and The Bible the more you understand how much people have distorted it's truths to serve themselves.
