The one thing this hotel lacks is a lounge.

Insightful video. Thanks. On the list of high-end properties in Bangkok, this one would rank in the middle or below. The luxury is generic and eminently forgettable. There is little “Thai-ness” to be seen. Lacking are the imaginative touches to be found in the best Bangkok hotels. What you experienced with service was disturbing and needs to be fixed immediately. Thanks for pointing this out.

Yes, unfortunately the service lacks personal touches and bias to certain nationalities was apparent throughout our stay. Nonetheless, we had a decent stay although as you put it, we expected a lot more from a high-end property like this.

Enjoy your stay in Bangkok! Try to request for a room facing the greens or city if you didn't book those.

My experience here was good but I do admit, when compared to other properties like say the Park Hyatt or Kempinski, the overall experience lacks a certain gravitas. The service was perfunctory and robotic, the interior design and environment very ostentatious and gaudy, there's no life to it. And now, the pool view is spoilt by the ongoing building construction in front. The "it" factor is just not present here.

Thanks for sharing your experience at this property. We are glad to learn that we are not the only ones who felt that the overall experience could be improved. Also, yes, the construction works beside the property limits the view from common areas and even our "park view" room.
