King Charles already works hard in his Duty of Service. I hope he takes it easy when necessary while receiving his chemotherapy and other cancer treatments.

I think he has but his generation has no interest in staying out of the public, working his job and GETTING ON WITH LIFE. We should be so grateful!

Cancer treatments can be horrifically damaging to the immune system. Staying away from any potential source of illness is just standard care, so getting the go-ahead from his doctors to mingle with the public is very good news. Outside events are less risky, of course, and a very wise precaution. It will be great to see Charles with his people again.

If the King and his family stopped all activities, the world would be at absolutely no disadvantage. Who needs their hands to be shaken? Sell off all surplus property so that each family has one and only one property, to a reasonable size and grandeur commensurate to what they need, and pass the value back to the public finances. My 32 year old daughter, who does a better and more important job as a teacher, than any of the Royals, cannot afford a two bedroom freehold property. Let's give her Frogmore Cottage! Cottage - Huh!!!

I see this gesture by the king in returning to his duties as a way of protecting William and taking some of the great pressure off his shoulders. A father who sacrifices himself so that his son can take care of his family in peace

The king should be more patient and wait a few more weeks to mix with a lot of different people. I know he's addicted to work and hasn't stopped working but he should wait awhile longer he is so impatient

He s 75-so retire already- its not like he has nt got a great pension plan. Nor does he have to wait for the best treatment that money can buy. Unlike many less worthy humans that have done important and valuable work in communities all their adult lives.

And please tell me how they are the most qualified people to occupy this position beyond being born into the job? This is just a meaningless medieval caste system.
