King Charles promises to serve Commonwealth to the best of his ability after cancer diagnosis
The King pledged to continue to serve the Commonwealth “to the best of my ability” following his diagnosis with cancer, saying his faith in its potential “remains as sure and strong as it has ever been”.
In his first major speech since he began receiving medical treatment, the King said he has been “most deeply touched” by the “wonderfully kind and thoughtful good wishes” sent by the public.

The kings position as a politically neutral head of government is symbolic more than anything else, basically the king had no real governing power , The royal website says while the sovereign is the head of state the ability to make pass legislation resides with elected Parliament.

I wish charles good health. More importantly i wish the country good health the fair and balanced application of our constitution is the mechanism for different interests expectations and needs to be met. By this means and this means only can diversity and difference be accommodated the good grace and sacrifice of many generations fought for managed and cherished our constitutional settlement and the rights that emanate from it are the boundaries we use as principle to innovate from it is with profound sadness that i say to charles that regardless of good intention these metrics are the stuff of legend to most people and are certainly not the product of the administration that the public endures on a day to day basis. It is generally accepted wisdom that houses are built from there foundations im sure given the scale of the problems that fixing them is daunting but imagine how world problems might look if the seemingly intractable domestic ones had been overcome we have the skills it seems only courage is in short supply and advantage to powerful a deterrent
