Whatever people say about The King, they can not say he isn’t doing his very best to keep things going as smoothly and as continuously as possible. With pretty much any other job in the world, he would be taking this time to grieve his loss. He’s showing amazing strength, people need to remember he’s not long lost his father and now his mother and he’s barely got time to breathe as he’s become King the second The Queen passed away. He’s showing unbelievable strength and courage to keep on going and making things tick as The Queen did. I think it goes without saying, but I think Her Majesty would be profoundly proud and grateful for how The King and the whole Royal Family are coping during this time of intense sadness for them. So proud to be British! 🇬🇧 👑 🇬🇧 Long Live The King 🇬🇧 👑 🇬🇧

King Charles III is a man of 73 and since the Queen past away he hasn't stopped from one official engagement to the next. It must be exhausting for him and makes you wonder how much sleep has he been able to cram into such a busy schedule. He will have earned at least a few days break after the Queens funeral on 19th inst.

I was raised to deal with things in private and even a police officer commented on my stiff upper lip. I told him carrying on isn’t going to accomplish anything or bring her back. After they left I went into the house hugged my dogs and cried.

Agree - the second half of your statement is precisely why we’d rather keep a monarchy. For one thing it keeps the elected politicians in check. There’s always someone they need to be mindful of.

That's because Charles lived on a farm in Australia for a whole school year in his youth so he got to know them pretty well as people and a country. And also, the Australian govt general is one of his good friends among many other Aussies too! 😁

The prime minister of New Zealand couldn't wait. Loved it! Justin Trudeau on the other hand didn't want to give Charles his hand back (such a boot lick) and I don't think Trudeau understands personal space. you can see Charles backing away because of how close he got, like he wanted to give the King a kiss.
