Do you know what i think ... I think the portrait the King endorsed was originally of him in his regal uniform. After King Charles endorsed it the painter went and did this to it. I honestly believe that this happened as Charles looked momentarily surprised, shocked and almost angry. Not convinced that King Charles endorsed this monstrosity as it is now.
