Very nice vist. The Royal couple of Japan are so gracious and respectful. I'm sure this visit brightened up the king day and they will be good friends forever. Love the hats and fashion choices. I hope they enjoyed there trip and will have fond memories and the Emperor and empress will be good friends with William when his time comes.

I love the Japanese. It still amazes me how much the nation, and its people have changed since WW2. There is probably no country on earth that I respect more.

It is great to see the Royal family of 🇬🇧 welcomed our Emperor and Empress. New history starts on the foundations of the true friendship between King Charls III and Emperor Naruhito.

As an english with japanese blood (my grandmother is japanese) I have to say I'm very proud of both cultures. I'm enjoying every bit of this visit ❤

Queen Camilla is not trying to compete with her late mother in law. Her role as Queen Consort is to support the King, unlike Queen Elizabeth who reigned in her own right.

I have a deep respect for the Japanese and their culture. But is it really appropriate for the Japanese Emperor to lay a wreath at the tomb of the unknown soldier given that .... the Japanese may have actually been the onese to kill the unknown soldier? (in case anyone doesn't know their history - Japan fought and sucessfully took out the British from the Pacific islands). . Again - I have been to Japan and I nothing bu respect for the Japanese people.

They were an ally in ww1. Even before that, they fought and defeated Russia in 1905 ( Russia was Britain's enemy/rival at that time, so Japan and Britain were allies ). WW2 is only a smear in thousands of years of Japanese history

in WW1 British n Japanese were very close allies. the navies of both countries had strong connection.
