For the future aspirants who get the doubt that sir didnt use temp in kelvin at 58:41 .... soo remember your concepts from chapter thermostatics temprature portion that , change in temprature in degree celsius is equal to change in temprature in kelvin ...... for example if you increase 50°c temprature of any substance from 27°c to 77°c ,the initial temprature in kelvin 27°c = 300Kand the final temprature will be 350K ..... if we calculate the change in temprature it will be 50K .... Thus, it implies [change in temprature in celsius = change in temprature in kelvin ].... hopes this helps you 🐈

@plazma CHAZER He has done a mistake in not giving the entire question. Obviously, the speed will not be Uᵣₘₛ until mentioned. In the question he is trying to solve, it's already given that the molecule is travelling at root mean square speed. Please see the question in it's entirety. A cubical box of side 1m contains helium gas (atomic weight 4 amu) at a pressure of 100N/m². During an observation time of 1 second, an atom travelling with the root - mean - square speed parallel to one of the edges of the cube, was found to make 500 hits with a particular wall, without any collision with other atoms . Take R=8.314J/mol-K And k=1.38×10⁻²³ J/K (a) Evaluate the temperature of the gas. (b) Evaluate the average kinetic energy per atom. ( c) Evaluate the total mass of helium gas in the box. Hope this helps.🤘🏻
