Yeah and now in season 4, Frenchie is bisexual and Kimiko says nothing will ever happen between them. I never really cared for their relationship because in the comics they are like father and daughter/ward but why did the show writers bother building up their relationship like this in the first place if they were just gonna scrap it in season 4?

I don’t see why people are seeing their relationship as being scrapped. Their relationship is still there, trusting and caring as ever, it’s just the familial kind rather than being the romantic/sexual kind.
I absolutely love the chemistry between these two.

The writers are hella inconsistent in season 4. Never really cared for this relationship (because they're like guardian and ward in the comics) but why bother building Frenchie and Kimiko's relationship if you're just going to deny it in season 4.... Make it make sense.

This show is so fucked up, but the characters feel so real and human.

That's the whole point, it's alternate world where it is our society if Superheroes really do exist. Every single things in this show is entire feasible in that scenario: people do fked up sh*t behind the scene, now add superpower to that equations and we got super *********. Humans will do what humans do, with or without superpower.

Kimiko has a beautiful soul and Frenchie deserves it Actually in the beginning , Frenchie tries to protect Kimiko Although how strong she is , he knows that she forgot about the most simple and basics things on which every human feeds on Affection , Tenderness and patience In the beginning she´s giving him a hard time But in the end all the work pays off with a sweet kiss That´s the purest form of Love in a twisted and violent World

I love these two together, and I am so happy the show takes its time to let their relationship grow. It's exhausting how many shows rely on nothing but shorthand and the unsaid presumption that boy and girl must get together, but with Frenchie and Kimiko I've been pleasantly surprised with the showrunners' restraint. For the first time in what feels like forever, I get to cheer for them and get giddy whenever they appear together on screen.
To be fair, Karen Fukuhara in general is (unrealistic) relationship goals 🙂

I think I read that they're either in the process of, or just about to begin, filming season 3. It's difficult to keep up though, what with the pandemic etc - especially when trying to keep track of the progress of other shows currently in production that you are equally as excited for (in my case shows such as The Witcher S2 and Umbrella Academy S3) - I keep losing track of which show is where, what the latest Covid-19 tests will say, whether someone has to isolate or has sustained an injury etc etc etc... 😂

The Boys S1 was so good..... obviously the story has to progress and S2 was also pretty good but miss S1.
I always thought of it like a father/daughter relationship, but either way, it's really sweet to show a loving relationship between these two.

The Boys Comics Spoilers--- he kills mother's milk first, then kimiko and frenchie, then he attempts to kill hughie, but hughie bests him. not after permanently fucking with hughie's head first. hughie and annie get to watch the bridge get rebuilt (in the comics the plane that the pre-starlight seven blow up crashes into the brooklyn bridge. it's like "supes caused 9/11" without saying supes caused 9/11) and the two of them live happily ever after. vaught is attempting to make new superhero groups but they're implied to be losing their touch.

He kisses her in the second season so it's definitely a romantic relationship.
It's weird that this video is called "dating 101" considering that aside from the attempted kiss they each pulled.... they're more like a brother/sister or how she puts it in the show he's her "family" now... I think after she rejected Frenchie's kiss he stopped looking at her in a romantic light and more like a close friend.
