Happy you had that experience! Its life changing, alot like laying on the ocean floor for the first time. That elk encounter is going to be on your brain for a very VERY long time. Back hitting that deep reef on the BI with the wife in 5 weeks! not that we are counting. Yes, this hunt took place on private land, at a location where the landowner exercises good land and wildlife management practices. RMEF has also showcased hunts on public land.
