Kimi, Rick hit it bang on you are "the perfect storm". Skilled, intuitive, responsible predator, chef, absolute respect to you Kimi. I know what you meant about the love of the ocean and foraging for your food makes going to a restaurant or a market pale in comparison and sharing your catch with others especially kindred spirits is amazing. I come back to your videos because I share and connect with your message. It's been 19mo since I was in the water and not a SINGLE day goes by that I don't miss the ocean. It would be epic to share the water with you one day!
Kimi is my new hero. Truly Inspirational.
Queensland is my favourite place (apart from my home town on the shipwreck coast in Victoria). I have only been there a few times but I was lucky enough to snorkel on the reef back in 1990 when I was 9. I hope I get to go back soon. Now the border is open between Victoria and Queensland so I'm excited to head up again one day soon.
I wish more people would watch these videos, if they did our world would be so much better💕
Kimi was my inspiration to get into diving.
LOVE your vids and live Kimi and the sustainable spearfishing! I live like this every time I go home to Grenada!!

You are more beautiful than the world, living together with nature^^ I'm living in korea
very cool...it's awesome
I think in modern society ... we forget to appreciate a few of the most important things in life: Being well fed, and staying warm and for the most part dry. I love spearing because not only can I separate my mind from the garbage of daily life, but I respect and appreciate the food on my family's table so much more.
Great!
Very, VERY Cool. Here in the Great Lakes states we are used to moderate to poor visibility. We do some spearing of rough fish on shipwrecks. The Burbot is related to cod and very good eating. I envy the freedivers for the peacefulness under water. Well Done Kimi.

My name is Justin and I worked on this project. I'm from Minnesota and rarely have seen clean water in my life. Learned to freedive moving to HI 4 years ago. Never could imagine spearfishing in Superior - but would love to with the right wetsuit!

Frank, you can contact her at www.kimiwerner.com. She doesn't check this page much. If you read through some of her stories, she has lots of suggestions and advice!
