You can see how Kimi's driving style is more gentle to the tires than Romain's. Romain seems to be struggling more with the steering by the looks of the amount he has to make those little correction moves. Kimi's steering is more smooth.

I think Romain was faster than Kimi at this moment. He has more corrections to do because he's faster in the corners. And they may do not have the same amount of downforce

No. He was not. Kimi was much, much faster in the races usually. Including this one. Kimi had a far superior driving style for tyre management too.@@lemans_fan
