Why did he write "I Love You" compared to his name? Remember, everything related to each other will disappear including the name. So Taki wisely by writing the word "i love you".

"Your Name"- The heart touching ❤😢 and saddest part of this movie is when... Mitsuha going to meet Taki for the first time and she was so excited... After meeting on train, Taki refuse to know her... That scene and face of Mitsuha 🥺.... after seeing this scene I can't stop crying. 😢

I also liked the part when he woke up as Mitsuha one last time and hugged her.

Watching the comet fall the second time but knowing the implications around it is one of the moments that hit me like a train. It was as if the animators gave us a minute to process everything

It’s not just a good movie, it’s a AMAZING movie!

Even though I do not understand this song it always pierces my heart. That part when he writes 'I love you' on her palm is so heartbreaking.

Whenever this song plays, my mind comes with a nostalgic feeling...I don't know, It's just I felt a sudden blue...

Your name is the only anime that makes me cry so hard. I can't move on to this movie .

For real my vision by the real world was skewered that a lot of relationships are shallow so I assume love was fake, but this film makes me believe that maybe fate like this could happen

I just saw this for the first time yesterday and new emotions were unlocked. It felt so surreal like a dream. With a breathtaking view. Beautiful film 10/10

Taki didn't write his name instead he wrote "I love you" because he knows the name will just be nothing when her memory gets erased but confessing his love for her solidifies their connection through space and time. That i love you made Mitsuha continue her mission which is to evacuate people before the comet strikes. When it's just the name written, Mitsuha will forget who's that anyway when the moon eats her memory. Writing I love you has gave her the drive and spirit to continue and do the mission even if the moon is slowly eating her memories and why is she doing this mission. Damn. Damn. Fuck
