President Ruto needs to reread the 2010 constitution and gets genuine legal experts like Dr. Ekuru Aukot to interpret for him the constitution. Also its' time the government organize for a two day retreat for all elected leaders and CS's where legal experts are hired to tutor them about the Countrys' constitution. This will help them understand and interpret the constitution well.

Nancy Gathugu, The Auditor General even Margaret Nyakang'o the Controller of Budget has all the figures on Expenditure, Income and Loans that Kenya has. How much has been paid and what's remaining. Forming a task force to look into our loans is a waste of time and money. The office of the Auditor General has all the data that's needed and Ruto knows that. I don't know why he's circumlocuting around the issue 🤷🤷

The task force, which doesn't have to be a task force, could have come after the auditor general's report on debt. They could then have asked for volunteers, whom they could vet, to verify the report. I think even university students can volunteer to do it, as a learning exercise, at a much lower cost than the task force.

As we wait for the audit, Article 211 allows parliament to request from Treasury the present info on any loan & guarantee including total indebtedness (principal + interest), use made or to be made of the loan proceeds, provisions made for servicing or payment, progress made in repayment, within 7 days. Why can't parliament make this request?

Add also independent i.e.b.c.

@@jbarasa6 not all videos can have images or a video. Some am forced to read like court documents and press releases. Those With videos I have always used them as evidence.

Kaka you're right. The auditor general as the person responsible should be the one to recommend or request such a task force if she deems it necessary. In which case she would author a blueprint addressing the area and scope of work, size and calibre of personnel, the tools and equipment, the processes and procedures, the time frame and the budget, etc. I'm talking from experience having initiated and supervised a very successful and cost effective task force before.
