So good! This is the music of my childhood - 12 years old, first dance party, Saturdays at the roller rink, unrequited crushes. Both Nik and Kim were a big part of that soundtrack.

I think when Kim's voice is slowed down and stripped back, you can really, really appreciate how beautiful it is.

Yes,she has a hidden vibrato(ish),built for slower,intricate material.When in arena pop-rock setting,cannot hear it as much.Her tone does not show well in loudness.I liked this in acoustic.

I remember hearing this song for the first time on my 6th birthday. It hit me right then and there. Amazing that it still hits me 40 years later

WOW! This performance was done over 30 years after the original. Kim still sounds amazing. You can tell her voice is older, but she still carries the tune & sounds just as well!

Well my Dad went to the Pub and if I was with him I had no other choice but to go. Into the Lounge Bar for a coke and a packet of chicken chips, play pool with only the white ball on the pool table and if I could extort some cash pump it into the juke box and play some Kids in America. Was sure the kids in America would at least have enough money to be able to play with more balls on the pool table than just the white ball!
