I feel like these two are close because all of the members did not take to Tae at first. If you look at earlier videos, they all thought he was weird and not real. Namjoon stepped in and took extra care of Tae to help him acclimate and also show the other members that Tae was worth giving a chance. Now they are all close.

Well said.watching their earlier videos i think v was the most misunderstood person in the group. Like a belief that he was doing everything for attention but it was just his lively-go-happy personality. Born to be a star. And when he was roasted for his tanned skin in an interview by the members it was RM who said that it was because of him that they became more popular. I was so pleased with RM's response because this leader really knows what a member contribute in their band(not that v contributes only his beauty but i admire RM for praising the point on which the truth stand) They are all different but they blend very well now☺
