They have been occupying Azerbaijan's land for 30 years despite numerous UN resolutions urging them to withdraw their occupying troops from the Azerbaijani land. Moreover, in June Armenia killed 11 Azerbaijani soldiers, including one General. So, yes, Armenia did start this war.

The war is not taking place on Armenian soil. Azerbaijani armed forces are not trying to seize Armenian territory. Armenia has occupied 20 percent of Azerbaijani lands. Azerbaijan has every right to liberate its occupied lands based on the self-defense principle of the UN Charter (Article 51), since the Armenian side has repeatedly refused to give Azerbaijani lands back.

From what I read, those ppl have been living on that land for centuries. How do you expect them to just leave their land because Stalin decided to give it to Azerbaijan which is a new country compared to them that have been living there for centuries?

@@Unknown-te6dz dude, the Armenian soldiers kicked out a million Azeri civilians from these lands. Yes, there are Armenians living there at the moment but the numbers are around a hundred thousand. Any Armenians wanting to stay will be allowed, they won’t be kicked out. Those one million people have become one million two hundred thousand over the 27 years and they want to return to their lands. They’re currently living in housing that the Azeri government built for them. I hope that makes it clearer...
