I’m an licensed esthetician. Toner is a underrated and often misunderstood skin care product. But it helps your serums and moisturizers absorb into the skin. Much in the same way you wouldn’t apply dish soap to a dry sponge. Using a toner allows for better product absorption.

I'm not buying overpriced skin care from someone who gets ton of cosmetic procedures Botox, filler, surgical procedures, lasers, PRP, etc and then filters every image she puts out. Really dishonest. If I’m spending 600 dollars on a skincare routine I think the last place I would go would be a kardashian line. It's so obvious she didn't put care into this line because we see NO sunscreen (like wtf, in 2022?!?!) and no retinols (like really, wtf!?!) Two ingredients that are expensive to buy, test, and formulate- and we know she MUST be using this in her personal skincare routine. This is just beyond

It’s a 50/50 each way it goes. I have eczema and most of the stuff I used that was cheap and affordable breaks me out, gives me rashes and dries my skin out. I’ve been using Fenty and it works beautifully on my skin and was thinking of trying Kim’s products. But ain’t no way I’m spending 600 dollars on something that could break me out. But hey there’s people that love her enough to buy whatever her and her family sells🤷🏾‍♀️

For those who say that Kim probably doesn’t use her own skincare line, regularly, need to realise that she has created a line that people with a monthly income of £3000+ can use. The world is filled with girls who can afford Kim’s skincare line. Spending £200 annually, is not expensive. Millionaires and billionaires can use La Mer, or not, if they want. Her target market is not broke people or teenagers. Kim can afford whatever product she wants to buy. Kim has not marketed her products as problem-fixing or pharmaceutical products. These are products that are safe for daily use and can make your skin feel good. All ingredients are used in a dose that is safe and effective. It is neither illegal nor misleading to sell such a product. The hate Kim is getting is for nothing. Haters are ignorant and frustrated people, who lack the courage to come up with a business idea and sell it. Not everyone has rosacea that needs to be fixed. Some people just want a pH balancing toner. Korean skincare brands do not treat severe skin conditions or underlying problems such as vitamin deficiencies. There are doctors available who can write prescriptions for such conditions. For those who criticise celebrity products, without trying them and copy the words of their GP, need to realise that GP’s are not skin specialists. Most dermatologists are not interested in beauty. They’re only interested in problem areas. Cosmetic surgeons and plastic surgeons, have combined dermatology with cosmetology to a certain extent and created products that not only fix problems but also make you look better. Products that are designed to fix problem areas AND create flawless skin, are very expensive. If Kim had created such a product, her fan base would have been upset and criticise her for selling complicated and expensive skincare products.

I use faith in nature soap which is naturally derived 100% and a natural body brush to scrub gently and then I apply aloe Vera which is like 99% active aloe to sooth and moisturise. I wouldn’t buy her products. I like SKIMS but too expensive for me and I don’t like most nude colours. And I wouldn’t wear a bobbly cropped top!

I looked at her line and was not impressed. For the price point these products should have at least higher concentrations of certain ingredients. Why does her toner exfoliate, but she's also selling a separate exfoliater? That's too much exfoliating. Why does her hyaluronic serum have the hyaluronic acid close to the bottom of the ingredient list? which means there's less of it. Her moisturizer is in a jar which let's oxygen in and degrades the ingredients and dipping your finger in there is unsanitary unless you thoroughly wash your hands every time.

Exfoliating the lips!? That's the worst thing you can do to them. Lips don't need exfoliation because they are the thinnest skin on our face after the under eye. If your lips are chapped, add hydration. You don't exfoliate your under eyes right?
