North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has presented veteran news anchor Ri Chun-hee with a new Pyongyang riverside home, state media reported on April 14, 2022. The apartment complex was completed just before the 110th birthday of Kim Il-sung, North Korea’s late founding ruler. As a television anchor, Ri has delivered some of North Korea’s biggest news over the past 50 years, including the death of Kim Il-sung and Kim Jong-il, the current leader’s grandfather and father, respectively.

I want to feel happy for her. But I want to know if she still living in that flat or not? I don’t want to be fooled by a media propaganda lies. If she is still currently living there and no harm came to her, then I am genuinely happy and extremely rare from North Korea. She really does deserve that place. Looks really luxurious from where they’re at.
"And in food news, you've had enough to eat today. Now with the weather, is Johnny Mountain....."
In the western world any News Anchor would have acquired a flat like that way before her long years of service. So, liking her or not, she deserves it.
At 0:11, her being able to hold Kim Jung Un like that, was more satisfying to her than getting the luxurious apartment. She really deserved both of it.
