I used to think that until I realized he brings so much to the table. He's an all-rounder, which means he might not excel in a specific category, but he's overall good at dancing and vocal/rap. He's also a captivating performer and has a lot of stage presence and charisma on stage. AND he's a top-tier visual, AND he's an older trainee - he's turning 25 this year (born in 1998), and with that, he can bring a lot of mental and emotional maturity to the final lineup. On top of EVERYTHING - the fact that he's out and proud about having acted in BL dramas can start a lot of conversations and make positive change to the Korean GP. Some smaller groups have had male idols that eventually acted in BLs, but having a BL actor in a TOP Kpop group produced by Mnet has never happened before.

I hate the camerawork and editing, like how are we supposed to see it well if it moves like that

He should stay in one course, I don't think that he suits the Boys Planet there are other unknown young boys - he was in a BL, and he even if he doesn't like should try in another way to get to a dance or idol section, cause he knows people from the industry. There are so many talented young people, and I don't like how he shows his visuals, he is just thinking of himself and his selfishness, ... wish him luck though .... but there are more talented people around u got to be special at times :.....

I don't think u understand. He literally came on the show as a last opportunity otherwise if he knew ppl from the industry like u say, wouldn't he have already debuted? Becoming an idol is not easy in Korea and exactly why survival shows are held and get a lot of participants. Everyone deserves an equal chance on that kind of platform, doesn't matter if someone "suits" an idol debut show or not and i think u need to get that perspective first.

This is kinda insulting cause if you knew jiwoong's story you would know how hard he has tried and how difficult it has been, if it was that easy as you said he would already be a successful idol and I don't know which BOYSPLANET are you watching, but in the BOYSPLANET I'm watching he is the sweetest man on earth with everyone, he is always comforting and giving advice to other trainees and they rely so much on him, he is handsome and that's not his fault, how is showing his visuals "selfish"?
