My first and only time at Backstreet Atlanta was in 1981. I lived in Augusta and went off to college that year but before leaving Augusta for college some friends and I drove to Atlanta to party all night. 😂

Wow I stumbled across this twilight classic brought back some long nights that turned into days 😆

Ah. I recall being at Avalon in Boston and the dance floor exploded at the break that builds after the 6 minute mark and drops at 6:22ish. I will always remember that as the dance floor was NUTS, the lights were spot on, and the air was filled with thousands of tiny bubbles. Fantastic moment!

+Steve Woodman I bet that was awesome. I always heard about Avalon, and what a great club that was. Is it still open? Another question. This track was typically a 'circuit track'. Did Avalon host a 'gay night'? Or was it played on an 'everybody' night. I'm hoping for the latter, b/c i love it when tracks that are typically played in gay clubs, crossover to ALL clubs. Just wondering! Thanks.

+jab3344 I'm not sure if it's still open as I've since moved away from Boston. It was a Thursday night which was indeed Avalon's gay night. I actually didn't go to Avalon all that often as there were other clubs I preferred like The Machine, Buzz, and Axis. Avalon was also very pricey
