I think the Manzos refusal to air their family’s dirty laundry on air was part of the reason Teresa became so popular. Soon as they left, ( or refused on air to talk about it)bravo needed a storyline of family drama ( rhonj was always about family relationships, it was its niche and selling point)Remember T was not a major storyline draw in the first season, it was all about the Manzos and Danielle and T was just kind of there. Then, she flipped a table, and it all changed, perhaps at the urging of production that she needed to step up her game. Melissa and Joe provided her with the family drama the Manzos provided beforehand, and the rest is reality history.

I am sorry but I don’t think these shows need to go nasty and dark to be interesting. The reason I love old RONY is the worse fight is Ramona asking Bethenny about a nude movie or Aviva claiming Carol has a ghost writer. The fights are so ridiculous it’s funny and interesting. The other franchises with perhaps Miami as an exception are too dark and I don’t watch them anymore.

well we DID recap allllll the RHOBH stuff all season - the fights we got into over Kathy and rinna. ALL those are on the back feed. We tried to recap RHOSLC but neither of us could get through the whole season. Threre is more with Kim coming this year - I have big plans for her lol

I think Caroline wanted back on RHONJ but they wouldn’t pay her what most OG housewives would expect- I think they offered her this trip which was probably a good sum for the time being filmed. But this deffo seems like it was the next best thing to not getting on RHONJ, let’s face it I don’t think Caroline is an obvious choice for this particular trip- they were likely just testing the waters before actually considering her for RHONJ (with a sensible offer). I also don’t think Caroline holds much weight with Bravo else they would’ve gone to her with a sensible offer in the first place so not quite sure she’s in a position to be making any ultimatums 😅

The problem is that kim talks too much, doesn't complete her thoughts nor claims. This makes the viewers uninformed. If she can slow down, it will improve the show. DAVID, is the consistent pro, whomever he works with; but Kim D seems to overshadow him, and that is what I dont like. JUST SAYING

I have to say I love Kim D. And David show. Being honest, I don’t agree with everything they say but with much of what they say. They’re are right about Caroline- she thought she would go on the trip and be spared of anything negative because she's Caroline. If Caroline reviewed the list of who was going, she should have realized that she had no business going- no matter how wise she thinks she is or how smart she thinks she is. If you can’t stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen. She couldn’t take it so she left.
