The main reason I loved Living Single, is because like Kim said they were black, relatable, and positive. They all had careers, friendships, and healthy relationships. And it was ok to be what they were and be black.

For me they could try but even if they do a good job nothing will ever touch Living Single because that show was lightening in a bottle with a chemistry you can't even pray for, the same with Martin. The 90s was a special time which is why those shows are better than anything now.

I watch these reruns everyday on TVOne. I subconsciously moved to Brooklyn because that’s where they lived, and I wanted to be a fabulous young black professional in NYC like them. They should reboot this with Kyle and Max’s child. That baby would be mid-20s now, the same as they were in the show.

Living Single represents every so called Black man and woman in America who aspires to have healthy relationships with friends, family, significant others and their careers as well. And let's not forget the style. Max wore the baddest coats. Khadijah natural hair and Howard U sweatshirts. Overton was sexy period. Kyle could go from Moshood to Armani like no one else. Regine possessed a wig for every occasion. Sinclair was the sweet friend in a long flowy dress that every woman needs. Four powerful, beautiful women and two strong but chivalrous manly men in brown skin will never be seen on television this way again. I appreciate Tyler Perry but let's be real with ourselves about his shows.....

I agree but the cast of Friends was only making $1 million for their final two seasons. Everyone is acting like these white actors came in from the jump making millions while the cast of Living Single was starving. Having said that, if while on at the same time as Living Single the cast of Friends was making more money, than that’s not right at all.

Rewatching the show for the millionth time. The writing was fresh & amazing. I don’t understand the appeal of friends & the reality wasn’t there. Living Single had realism to it where they worked to afford where they lived. Living Single just had heart & it truly was lightening in a bottle because they nailed it on all levels. Season 5 didn’t work without Kyle. It felt like a season grasping at straws & trying to get back some of the heart they lost & they couldn’t. So shame on them for firing T.C. It’s karma & therefore they killed their own show. T.C. more music 😎😎🤘🏻🤘🏻. I’ve heard so many versions of Honeysuckle Rose but none as good as his version.

No one had it before they did that. I'm sure that's what changed the appeal of TV for movie Movie actors. Before then, Movie actors consider TV a step down and you were one or the other.

Does anyone have the full, unedited interview? There were many deep issues discussed. But I'm particularly intrigued with TC's views on the injustices that are happening today, and how the justice system wasn't built with us in mind, it wasn't created for the black people. I'm just paraphrasing, but that's the gist of what was said. The truth of his comment struck a chord with me. The truth of those words was especially revealed in the final ruling of Breonna Taylor's murder trial.

Let’s eat some humble pie and get Tyler Perry to buy the show. Let’s get onboard and continue the show at his studio in Atlanta, GA. The show must go on. Let’s get the petition together to raise the funds.

DC Jones, he is a billionaire now. Getting the rights would not be a problem. He needs to get a Caucasian to pretend to be the buyer then the deal will get done. If Mr T. Perry, gets the rights when he does buy the rights, he will even make it better than the original. Let’s get it bought and do it. If all else fails, Oprah can negotiate the deal so we can this thing done.

Okay DC Jones. I’m glad you “know persons”, we all do. If an entity doesn’t have what they need they create a partnership, consortium or take a loan... let’s think outside the box shall we.....

TC is right! Why we haven't created Black owned Streaming serves for our media AND IF WE HAVE THEM WHY WE'RE NOT HEARING ABOUT THEM I don't know!! We have the power to do this!
