Fantastic cover of this 80s classic. I’ve always wondered if the intro was either a synth or a chorus guitar or a bit of both. Whatever it was, I think it was perfectly executed in this song.

thank you for playing this song. I remember that a FM station in my local area(nagoya Japan) played this song again and again and I listened with my "radio-casset player". I was 13 years old and I didn't understand English..( I couldn't play the guitar neither) It is still one of my favorite songs in 80's.

I've looked up this song every once in awhile on YT and love your ideas here. I wanted to mention that I believe the intro uses Csus2 first then C. Looks like your playing C every time. Let me know what you think.

Hi Kenneth, First time i play like C5. I play only 4th & 3rd strings. Second time i play C with the third on highest note (2nd string) I tried that Csus2 thing but sounded little "wrong" to my ear. Maybe keyboard is playing that sus note...😃👍 I don't know, but you got a good point 🙋‍♂️
