Kim Caldwell's Lady Vols aren't ready for UConn - yet. Can she change that?

Part of coaching the Lady Vols means testing yourself against the nation's best opponents. Kim Caldwell will experience that in her first season at Tennessee.
The Lady Vols will host UConn next season, a restoration of a rivalry that went on a one-year hiatus last season. There was a time when this rivalry of blue bloods and clash of Pat Summitt and Geno Auriemma defined the sport. The rivalry isn't what it once was, and neither is either program. Still, UConn is coming off a Final Four appearance, while Tennessee is a program searching for its footing.
Can the Lady Vols possibly be prepared to handle UConn in Caldwell's first season?

Nothing is impossible Cora. Yes they could beat them , however odds don’t see it.
Just curious. Have any of you three seen a Kim Caldwell team perform?
Vol Fans don’t judge Kim or compare her to Pat. No one is or never will be Pat. Kim has a hard job building a roster that lack 3 years of recruiting.
Uconn has since the Brenna Stewart era they can be beaten. The problem with Tennessee and other teams they only play one first half against them strong and allow them best them in the second half. If you knock them on their tails and play tough defense on Uconn they aren't as good as the experts believe.
Hope she proves you guys wrong.
We should have never added u conn back to the scheduel, not because of wins or loses, but because Pat took them off, they cheated, pat despised him. Tenn went against her wishes by doing this. So why would tn do this, we don't need them, they don't need us. They dishonor Pat by doing this. John Adam's u need to get out of our Lady Vols BB. Never ever should u conn step on Pats court. Very bad idea. The truth needs to be told about u conn

See that's just negative. We're only in May. We don't know what this roster will be capable of.
