The North Ridge Quad, formerly known as the North Ridge Triple, is a 2019 Leitner-Poma fixed-grip quad (four person) chairlift. It runs pretty slow for a short, fixed-grip quad. This chairlift is known for being the first chairlift to open for skiing in the East every season. This lift usually opens in late October or early November. The North Ridge Quad is accesible from the bottom of the trails, East Fall, Rime, and Home Run. The North Ridge Quad serves the North Ridge area, which includes mostly blue trails, and some black trails. The top terminal is the same as the Canyon Quad, which runs two trails over on the left, except it's bottom terminal is lower. The North Ridge Quad's bottom terminal is at the bottom of the Rime trail. The top terminal is just below the summit of Killington Peak. There is actually a hiking trail from the top of the North Ridge and Canyon quads, to the summit of Killington Peak. This can be helpful if you don't want to wait in the usually bad line for the K-1 Gondola. You can take the South Ridge quad to Homerun to access the North Ridge quad. From the top of the North Ridge Quad, you can access (without taking any other lifts or hiking), Snowdon Mountain, Skye Peak, and Ramshead Mountain. You can also access the K-1 Lodge, and the Skyeship base lodge.
