It is how it maintains power. Violence is just usually exported to places with fewer cameras. The context here is that this is a conflict the whole world has cared about for a long time, and the US was able to have its own population be kept unawares of UN resolution votes. The hegemonic power of US and UK is waning and the sheer volume and scale of atrocities makes it all harder to ignore, to the point that the gap in propaganda between what is said by officials Zi-UK-US and what happens on the ground has never been wider. US citizens also can't understand where their tax money is going because infrastructure is breaking down, outdated, and not improving when they were told from birth the US was the best of all possible worlds. The cracks in concrete and narratives reveal too much to control. Most citizens are drowning in medical debt. It is hard to believe in something that gets more impossible to pay for (greedflation).

Edorgan has done something that could have big results after he is long gone he has been focusing on Somalia. Somalia has large oil and gas potential and even military potential in a strategic location. Problem is we won’t see the fruits in decades.
